Was at the match at st marys. Our fans were superb 2nd half . Helped by the fact  fatawu can on a sub and ran riot.

Thought  soton fans were poor from start to finish. Didnt appear to push their team on when it was 2.2 towards the end

I thought that their fans were quite good considering they are the most similar club to us as well don’t feel like we ever get it as noisy as they did at times

Leeds cov and Plymouth were really good

leeds were awful for 80 minutes. they sang at kick off, then were silent until their equaliser. fair play, they were then really good once the game swung their way but it was purely a reaction to a mad 10 minutes. that's really what football is like most places now though, can't remember the last set of fans I saw that make much noise without being triggered by something on the pitch

Not really atmosphere, but given the saint Mary's and the king power are virtually identical architecturally, I only really noticed on this occasion just how bad the stadium can look without care and attention.

The thing I was impressed with was that the fans stayed with the team.

It may not have been especially loud for periods but for the first 50 / 55 minutes we were so poor we could have easily got on the team and especially the managers back.

When the Fatawu chants started, before he came on, there was renewed energy before we started to turn the tide and I think the fans played their part.

The scenes at the end were up there with any single game I can remember - epic

I completely agree I can’t imagine we would have got back in the game if we were shouting abuse at the players and being Mardy like we often can be unnecessarily. But as soon as the Fatawu sub was noticed the renewed positivity clearly brought a lot of life back into the players and really helped us win

Hope the dribbling suits at the KP don't get any funny ideas from Southampton's player-tailored goal music. They've already done the "post-match playlist" thing to death with Freed From Desire / Voulez Vous.

We used to do that with Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. His goal music was always Baby Give It Up by KC & The Sunshine Band, just so the fans could sing his name to the chorus.

It was good tbf but it was only one player they did it for.

I think the KP has always looked more pleasing on the eye.The brick work cladding and general colour scheme is far superior

Genuine question - Do such YouTube users get paid for doing this sort of thing?

There seems to be a lot of like him around in stadiums videoing himself and uploading it.
