This is key. Why we'd spend what we are spending on interest in recent years when we've had financial issues with PSR amongst other problems if KP are able and willing to continue to fund such losses.

 

My prediction which I hope i'm wrong about is, the gravy train is over. The ability to fund past this season will be unlikely and so no new buyer makes things very difficult and why I see the reasoning for prospective owners trying a very low offer for us.

Lots of unknowns and guess work from anyone looking in from the outside.

 

Only time will tell.

 

You guys have done a great job on the pod increasing awareness of the situation but think it's time to getting back to talking about the actual football.

People thinking that because Seagrave cost us £100m then it must be worth £100m. Given it's operating cost and the fact there's probably only one football club that would feasibly want to buy it, we'd be doing very well to get £20m for it.

Great pod this week.

 

Particular highlight was Ric referring to Hamza Choudhury playing in the 10 as being worse than anything he has seen in the back of the Bounty at 2am. 

 

Such a high bar, but could not agree more with the comparison 😂

Hey @Ric Flair. Thought it was a really good pod this week. Had stopped listening after last season's comments about wanting to see the club drop to League One, but gave it another go and enjoyed it. Thought Watts was a great guest - love the MoN days, especially as it came during my teenage years. Wish the defenders now had the same passion for the shirt!

 

Felt it was more balanced as well, and the right negatives were called out. In fact, think you could have been harsher on Souttar for their goal, it was unacceptable what he did. 

 

PS. Managed to get the Who Are You before anyone, which was a nice surprise!

Was a good show but @Ric Flair you need to pull the other 2 up on their hypocrisy, if we'd signed the CBS they want before shifting the incumbent and not signed a striker they'd be raging, we have a tight budget and have to prioritise until we move people on

As others said, @Ric Flair comment about Hamza as a 10 made me spit out my water at the gym.

 

I can’t see any comments about it but think that you’ve actually listened to any feedback about how positive/negative previous pods have been.

 

My only suggestion is for Jake not to reference those comments as much, just be your usual great/authentic selves lads.

Just seen one of Jake’s tweets pop up and there’s STILL clowns in his replies giving him grief for being “negative” 

 

If you’re doing an episode for this game (I wouldn’t blame you if you don’t) I hope it’s a 3 hour super cut of just non stop moaning

Trying to do a positive podcast about Leicester City in 2026 is a bit like getting Okoli, Souttar and McCarthy to do passing triangles in their own box. You can try it, but it is going to exceptionally difficult to pull off without making yourself look really, really stupid.

Listened to the latest episode today. Couldn’t help but think these poor blokes are trying so hard to be positive and have no idea in a few days time they’ll watch us get smashed by Burton. 
 

Great ep tho, enjoyed the Julian Watts chat.
