Michael Johnson was worse than Powell. We paid to have him on loan for the season and we spent a small fortune on him. He was finished by the time we got him.

Hmm.  We have been far worse.    I suspect I will not be in the away end at Yeovil again 

 

We are four players off a phenomenal team.   We are at a stage where we could be in serious trouble if we lose  players.. But we won the FA Cup recently

Unless you can remember us swapping Jim Melrose (fantastic player) for Tommy English( arguably our worst ever player)

you don’t understand shit transfers👀still makes me feel sick even now

I've always thought this a tiny bit tbh. We get credit in a lot of places for unearthing Tielemans when he was on a lot of top clubs radars as a youth player and just fell through the cracks a bit, we were the only ones to give him a chance

I'd be interested to know which 7 you consider to be extraordinary and outstanding, personally I'd put one in that catagory- Maddison.

Has he scored important goals for us? He’s made some important contributions, but I fail to recall any important goals.

In a phenomenal team you could have Castagne, Faes, Justin,  Ndidi, Maddison,  Tielemans, Barnes.   Maybe Perreira, maybe Daka.  I know Justin is injured.

 

I am responding to the negativity of comments.  We need to recruit.  But 'our level' could go either way.

Tbf mate we are a loooooong way off having a phenomenal team we are more of a ok ish team at present.

He looked really, really off the pace in the prem though - certainly too slow to be playing in a midfield 2

Hernandez was awful, his one skill was a long throw. His highlight was getting caught on camera negotiating swapping shirts with a Porto player half way through us getting smashed 5-0 at their ground.
