He’s too self-effacing to trust. There’s probably £20m or £30m, more than enough if we spend it wisely but there’s never enough to satisfy and protect brand Brendan.

He’s had lots of input yet he’s always a had done by.

someone who buys ‘gucci’ belts and brags about it to players isn’t going to see value in one from marks and spensers. Even if they are built in the same factory!

I've no doubt this place will be full of the usual delusion about what we're going to do later in the window, like we had months of in the summer and previous windows before it gets to deadline day and we're scrambling for Michael Keane on loan. The truth is if we were serious about rectifying our issues we'd have had a new signing involved tonight. There's no serious links to anybody bar the usual agent talk. We have this ridiculous attitude here of total complacency, this attitude that everything's going to magically be alright. We've had the likes of Vardy and to a lesser extent Maddison pulling some real wool over the eyes of people for a while now. The truth is becoming evident. The people running the show are totally inept.

That’s simply not true.

Care to elaborate on which part is not true?

Since Rodgers arrived we’ve spent not much more than Forest spent in the last transfer window and less than a lot of clubs spend in the summer. We go on about competing with the big 6, they spend around £200 million a season - we’ve spent that in about 4 years!

We haven’t made a permanent signing in January for 5 years!
In recent times we’ve made close to £200 million in player sales, 100s of millions in tv money, sponsorship etc.

Yet we are seeing no investment in the playing side, non at all! A net spend of less than £35 million over 5 years is pathetic.

Yes we have our training ground but between Chilwell and Maguire that was paid for with money to spare.

Everyone could see at the end of last season the squad needed heavy investment. Yet it just didn’t happen.

All of this is bang on.

The success on the pitch, and amazing jobs done on levels below the ownership have created a narrative that the owners have done nothing but pump money into our club. It isn't true.

Even when the constant loans being taken out kept being published, it was fine because we'd just won an FA Cup or Community Shield.

It isn't the slightest bit about entitlement. We will all appreciate what we won in the last few years forever. We just don't want this all to cloud the complete mismanagement for years that is seriously risking us becoming Championship Leicester City again.

Maybe we can sell it to Forest.

To a lender/bank/broker, that's a lot of land that would now make somewhere ideal to make homes! Newt problem already sorted

When recently have we had heavy investment? What season?

summer of 21. He’s bought 11 players to the club only Faes is a starter and their sause we are shit in defence, Faes should be 3rd or 4th choice that’s his level.

Summer of 21 we only brought in:

Daka - building up to replace Vardy - Jury still out, but now when fit first choice striker.

Soumare also jury still out, but now looks to be a first choice player.

Lookman on loan - did okay loan finished

Vestergaard brought in as a back up with the injury to Fofana - didn’t work out.

Bertrand brought in to replace Fuchs as the experienced full back - hasn’t worked out.

Thats 4 permanent transfers and one of them was free. Hardly significant investment.
Not sure where you got 11 players from unless that’s since he arrived at the club?

In which case 11 new players in 4 years isn’t significant investment.
Of those 11 Tielemans, Castagne, Justin,  Daka, Soumare and Faes are all first choice players when fit.

Fofana has been sold on for huge profit

Perez was first choice for the two most successful seasons we’ve had under Rodgers.

Praet is a decent squad player.

Only Vestergaard and Bertrand really haven’t worked out.

In that time, we’ve pretty much broken even on transfers fees.

There has been no heavy investment from the club, in fact there has been no real investment in the playing staff for years.

Nah I’m not doing this with you, it’s a waste of time you’re such a fan boy maybe you think it’s cool to defend a terrible manager I recall you did the same with Puel. Let’s just say you’re in the minority still defending him, maybe stick to AFL.
