Well we invested in bigger earners for lesser squad importance because of the Europa League. Now we apparently have a "small squad" according to Brendan. He refuses to pick some of that apparent small squad too.

 

It isn't a small squad, its basically a small amount of players to pick from because of the mismanagement. The supposed great man manager.

I agree it's not a small squad, it's just a squad full of crap that we have shown too much faith in, and continually thrown money at instead of investing in new players. How much a part of that Rodgers has been we'll never know, but he certainly restricted his options seemingly over spats that he can't back away from, and when he has actually spent money it's largely been wasted on more overpayed junk.

We took out another loan agreement with Macquarie in November to get the £50m outstanding from the Fofana deal early
