I had no idea where Leicester were in the league table of players salaries. In itself, that is disgusting.

Paying as much as we pay to this lot is lunacy, but no-one seems to be accountable.

Rotten club at the moment

We’ve really not spent anything at all. Compared to most Premier League teams and considering we’ve been in Europe and the players we’ve sold. It’s not about pissing money away, it’s about not spending any money really on a squad that badly needs it.

We have we’ve just ran up a huge wage bill. The civic adjustments make it tricky but last set of accounts we’re spending about 20m less than Spurs in wages and 30-40m more than West Ham, Villa etc. Be interesting to see the next set of accounts as it’s the latest position before the summer, not covid affected and we can see how we’ve changed compared to other teams.

But we can talk about individual signings and generally how well, or not well, we’ve recruited but the buck has to stop with the people who committed to spending that & the people who negotiated to pay players that. If you’re paying those wages your recruitment has to be even better to justify it.

Speaks volumes about how the club view the fans if that's true.

Why the **** would any of our fans have ANY gripe with that statue.

Saw it with my own eyes, about 8 stewards stood around it.

At times this season we’ve stewards lining the singing section, the lining the area around the dugout and now we have like pinch points outside each turnstile with them manned by 6 or 7 stewards

With many contracts expiring in the summer it's almost like we're just holding out, the board are crossing their fingers we don't get relegated so we can free up the wage bill.

Problem is, there’s a number of contracts we need to retain and a lot we need to basically pay off.

I agree that we probably haven’t got much to spend, but if we did, he’s hardly gonna say ‘yes, Top said I can staff as much as I want to’.

Baffling. The club views the fans so poorly.

Said it before and whilst people might not like to hear it, if there is little money again, it's time for King Power to sell up to an owner who can invest.

You realise that they have personally invested more than most owners.

There isn’t a massive queue of people wanting to LOSE money on football teams.

I’m afraid you are deluded.

All gone. Seriously, wtf did we need a 100 million quid training ground? When do we expect to see any young players coming through of the quality that you’d expect from somewhere like that? 10 years, 15. It’s pretty pointless when you consider that any quality coming out of there will go to a big club for next to nothing anyway. Fvcking great big vanity project.

The new training ground is definitely the right kind of investment to make for sustained success. Clearly there's a cash-crunch in King Power at the moment. Until those massive contracts are exhausted we aren't bringing in anyone except players with potential.

That’s simply not true.

The Training Ground is an asset everything is just asset.  Losing Vichai, well, we can see what's happening

An asset? It’s going to be a relic in 10 years.

Where's the 40 mill that should be left over from the "unplanned" Fofana  sale?

Where's all the money gone from all those sales we made? We have 0 net spend since promotion and nothing but shit loads of loans.
