I suppose if we were winning and another 15 mins were added our nerves would be shredded but the something must be done for the integrity of the game. Time keeping should be taken away from refs.

Just stop the clock and play 2x30 mins. How hard can it be? I swear football makes the mountains out of mole hills

This. The ‘but Arsenal are top’ people have such low standards to be happy with having 1 shot off target and not laying a glove on them. Can’t believe people are happy with that showing!

Yes Everton may have only got that 1-0 result if they played that game 10 times but they had a go and got a great result. Not everyone is going to get a result against them as they’d not be too otherwise but why is it we have the only fan base seemingly happy to role over and lose to the ‘big 6’ 12 times a season?

I watched the Everton Arse game and they played exactly as defensively boring as us yesterday, don’t think they had a go at all. They just did it better and were more dangerous from set plays than us. They did knock it long though but had a target man in Calvert Lewin who held it better.

5 minutes time added on yesterday!!

Yet again we were short changed by the officials given all the substitutions in the second half and the appalling time wasting tactics employed by the Gooners with players rolling about as if they'd been poleaxed.

I don’t think we are. Ndidi is a destroyer, he is cover to allow the full backs to bomb on as well as stopping the opposition midfield from passing through the lines. Some of the best football we’ve ever played is when Ndidi is playing this role.

The problem we have is that too much is expected of him and its had an impact on his performance. Let him break up play and pass it to another player to get us moving up the pitch quickly and with purpose. He is not the player we should be relying on to play a possession based game through the middle.

He doesn't destroy much any more, been awful for at least 2 years

Still think its because he’s expected to be Busquets rather than Ndidi. So much of our play is in the centre, back to back side to side and he’s not the type of player for possession based football.

This is very much the future for us next season without Maddison sadly.

Every game he’s been out this season we’ve looked out of our depth at Premier League level. Next season is going to be a serious slog to try and stay up.

....can't see it, we will get someone in to fill the role, he may not be as good, but we are not going to fall apart and become an also ran!!!

Don't you think stop the clock and play 45 mins ?

Pretty sure the effective time spent playing the game at top level amounted to around 60-70 minutes.
The stoppages would still make the game last 1½ hours + 15 min break, so 2x 30-35 minutes with clock stopped at every whistle seems appropriate.

Exactly, shouldn’t be in the team

Maybe it was to get him to try a little harder given the perofrmances he's put in when he played this season.

I tend to disagree, with not creating enough, aren’t we the 6th highest goal’s scored, however we have also conceded a fair few, and here lies the problem, we are either very good or very poor, we need to find the middle ground. Losing Maddison will be a big lost, but hopefully we recruit a decent replacement and improve in other areas. BR needs find a player to combine defensively know how with attacking intent and ideally we need one player in midfield that can do both, 🤞

Another game where our huge ineptitude to create chances without Maddison is exposed. Ward is comically shit and really, games like this one make me think that our absolute priority has to be a goalkeeper in the summer.

2 priorities I'd go for.  A keeper yes absolutely, Ward is championship at best.

The other most glaring area we lack is an onfield leader. There is not one single person on our team able to get the rest of them up and at it. We just drift through games as if the outcome is irrelevant.

Wouldn't have known who was skipper for most games since Kasper.

Watching a couple of Man United games recently, one thing they've got that Leicester could do with is a right couple of bastard, proper nasty c..ts, in Martinez,Bruno, Casemiro and Anthony. Top players who d the dark arts well, from playing the hardmen to turning into complete pssyhols when they need to from being agggresive to oppents to rolling around on the ground like they've been shot.

The likes of Bruno constantly in the refs ear complaining, to stepping into defend other teamates in scuffles and they all do this for one reason to gain any advantage possible to win for themselves, for their teamates and fans.

Leicester under Rodgers are a soft team, which lacks so bad mentally and physically. This team under Rodgers is one of thickest group of footballers i've ever seen, not steetwise at all, Soumare is the poster boy of this squad, he's everything that is wrong lacks hunger, desire, aggression and Couldn't care less, now look at Casemiro won eveything at club level, but watching him play for United with all those qualities that our players lack hurts. The buck stops at the manager.

Our tactics were completely wrong. Without Maddison, we had to play Youri as he is our only other creative midfielder. We were also continually trying to play out from the back with a goalkeeper, back four, and defensive midfielders that just were not capable of doing that against the Arsenal press.

Whether Rodgers wanted us to play ‘aggressively’ or ‘on the front foot’ was irrelevant as he insisted the team build from the back.

It was like watching a Champions League team against a League 2 side, but a league 2 side that wanted to play out from the back constantly.

The first 60 minutes Arsenal were effectively camped on the edge of our box.

Mentality is pointless when the tactics are so badly setup for the players available.

From 80-90minutes on the clock, the ball was only in play for 2 minutes.

You have to lay a glove on whoever the opponent is. If they are better than you over the park fine, a number will be. But you have to mix up your own game and develop something that will hurt them.

Yesterday just felt like we'd decided already they were far superior and the plan was to just stay in the game. Didn't see anything other than that and certainly no plan b again.

Not sure that we ever left the stool in the corner of the ring let alone lay a glove. We threw the white towel in after 30 seconds of round one. That was as abject as possible never mind not turning up to fight.

We drive down from Bingley West Yorkshire which is a 6 hour round drop. It costs us around £100 plus the match tickets and I expect more from the players to justify my time and expense. Unless it changes I can use my time more profitably. Feel like sending them an invoice !!!!

what on earth are you driving, a tractor? I drive down from Keighley and that's 5 hours round trip at about £30 fuel

I can't disagree with what you say but just on NDiddi for a minute. He hasn't performed well for quite some time.

People have different reasons as to why. My own is he has too much going on in his life currently.

We need him back to what he done best which was breaking up play and winning the Ball back.

The big difference on Saturday for me was how comfortable the Arsenal players were on the Ball. They didn't panic in possession unlike us. Maddison is the only player who is happy to receive the Ball anywhere on the pitch. We need more players who can carry the ball past an opponent instead of always looking to pass sideways or backwards.

This is going to be a big Window come Summer and we need to sign players with Skill Pace and Power.

Lets hope BR gets it right.
