Was there a lot of chanting from fans for "Rudkin out" yesterday?

Yes, heard it quite loudly on bbc radio Leicester but seemed to only last 10/15 seconds.

Maybe just maybe you can love the club, the players, a lot of good people behind the scenes whilst thinking the guy who is in charge of the football operation is a complete liability and preventing the club from fulfilling its potential.

therefore when he spoke with Ruud maybe he was honest, wonderful club, great owner, however the DoF is out of his depth, so if you join push for a change.

Or having worked with Rudkin for a year and knowing him much better than every other Leicester fan, he might have thought he did a good job in a successful season.

Yes you could often hear that in his pre and post match interviews especially after the January transfer window when he was frustrated and said he had been lied to by none other than JR

He seemed pretty happy at the end of the season with everyone.

At the end of the day he recently praised Rudkin, which you wouldn't have done if you thought he was a complete liability. He also gave a glowing report on Leicester City in general to Ruud, which helped him to make his decision to accept our offer.

He actually just gave Rudkin a name check at the end of the praise for the the club and owner etc and how he cared about everyone there, I don’t buy into that his narrative that Enzo thinks Rudkin was excellent, in fact even when we won the title at PNE, Rudkin was a bystander to the celebrations and it was noticeable how the squad and Enzo celebrated with Top yet Rudkin was on the periphery of it all.

Ourselves and Brighton are in similar positions in that a good season could lead to Europe and a bad one might be relegation yet they seem far better prepared for everything. The only time recently we have been decisive and prepared for change is going from Puel to Rodgers. It is ridiculous how we have been run.

Looking at the current situation- why wouldn't you just change for change's sake? Nobody wants Rudkin outside the club, we won't lose a coveted asset. We are stuck with the same man, same mindset. The club is stale.

likely that it will take another relegation before Rudders is given the shove.

got the majority right last season, only real duds were players enzo requested personally and coady.

It’s the first season in a long while it’s gone right but it would be strange for enzo to think he was terrible based on last year and the amount of resources he was afforded

That's very us, wait until the damage is done before acting. Reactive. Passive. He's the most out of his depth person I know of in football and we're still having him forced on us. I can't support this owner while Rudkin is kept in place.

Deleted it now but he reshares the video of Rudkin out chants yesterday

I'm sure he'll get a mysterious injury soon and then sign for Brighton in the summer.

First time I've heard Lineker mention "problems above the manager's head" at the club, and "poor decisions at board level" on the TRIF podcast today.

He would've heard things. It goes without saying really for fans, but it feels like there's more media acknowledgement generally of how badly the club is being run.

These problems have been explicitly obvious for the last four years or so. Just look at the contracts being handed out, and the hundred odd million lost by letting players have their contracts run out and leave on a free.

In an ideal world:

Rodgers would have gone v early

We get in Emery

Players are on the right contracts etc and get sold bringing in revenue

We bring in players we need (actually getting deals done😱).

And instead of this thread theres a 180 page thread moaning about the new champions league format....

To which the club reacted by releasing a highly critical statement of Enzo and also clearly worded that it had been passed a solictors' eyes. Rather telling you can't find that statement on the official website anymore (certainly via the twitter link).

He left when he got an offer from a top 4 team. Hardly surprising. Also not surprising we wasn’t happy about it at the time.
Also doesn’t mean Enzo didn’t enjoy his time here and the relationships he had with the owners and Rudkin as he has stated recently.

As genuine as Maresca's joy was at taking Leicester City straight back to the top flight at the first time of asking, the euphoria created by promotion could not disguise the fact that not everything was well at the club.

Leicester's possible Financial Fair Play (FFP) issues were something he only became aware of after the season had started.

That, coupled with a highly unsatisfactory January transfer window involving two deals in particular, also created conflict at Leicester.

Cesare Casadei was very much part of Maresca's plans after signing on loan - coincidentally, from Chelsea - at the start of the season. Then Chelsea recalled him in the winter window.

Stefano Sensi, from Inter Milan, had come to the UK to help complete the deal once the two clubs had negotiated a fee for the player. Suddenly everything fell apart over concerns surrounding the club's FFP standing.

Maresca kept his counsel and soldiered on but to say he was unimpressed on both occasions would be an understatement.

Can't one of the ex-staff just whistle blow and out this guy for whether he is good or bad.

By all accounts it sounds like the players are indifferent towards him.

The 'Rudkin out' thing is significantly larger on foxestalk than it is in reality. I would estimate 5-10 thousand fans even know who he is. He'll continue pottering along on ~half a million a year until someone with respect for accountability is in charge (Which certainly isn't Top or Susan Whelan).
