One good window doesn't undo the appalling last five years. And having to sign players on loan on deadline day despite raising £50+ million in sales is a damning indictment of how much of a financial hole this twat has put us.

I'm happy with our business for what it's worth, but the reports of us offering Brownhill a long contract at silly money shows that Rudkin has learned nothing.

Spot on !

He’s still a problem.

Like it’s been said a million times it won’t change and you can’t expect it to change until KP finally sell then we can breathe a huge sigh of relief that it’s all over.

Good windows are hard to see from outside. We can be happy with what that does on the field but so much is down to what has been agreed.

on the surface it looks like good work. But I don’t think lessons have been learned. The fact we reportedly offered brownhill 100k (if we are promoted) is beyond reckless. If brownhill is a 100k player, then I’m worth 10k… where’s my money Jonny?!?

Good window?! You've been gaslighted.

Rudkin would never do this because he'd crumble on one bit of criticism. Hopefully the When You're Smiling podcast with Marti tonight might give us a little insight hopefully.

Would say this window he's basically done what you'd expect a DoF to do. Hardly pulled off some astute coup.

We’ve not seen the new players yet. I will hold judgement. But got rid of a lot of players which was needed still quite a few to go. Let’s hope that happens at Christmas

Got rid of a lot of players that were so hard to get rid of previously because he signed off their astronomical lottery winning contracts.
It’s like praising someone for cleaning a shit up off your cream carpet, despite there now being a big shit coloured stain there and you can’t get rid of it because the damage has already been done

Firstly, he's the director of football, not the finance director.

Second, do you honestly do  you honestly still believe transfer rumours?

Perhaps he's camera-shy?

No he’s completely out of his depth, like his boss, winging it every day and you wonder why the club is a shambles.,

Strange decisions for years at our club. From working with the youth team to Director of football overnight is a truly remarkable feat. It just doesn’t happen in the real world.

It’s a little similar with Kingy. We all love him but you read he’s back at the club just working with the youngsters and doing his badges and you think that’s brilliant I bet he might move on to another club at a lower level to become a better coach or if he stays he’ll join the youth level, but no , within a short period of time he’s gone from that to be given a first team coaches role ??

This makes the radio silence from the club 100% worse.

Who is making decisions to sign people like Skipp and Awey?

Why on earth are people like VK still at the club?

In the past 2 seasons we have removed most of our goal involvements in the form of KDH and Vardy. There has been no succession plan.

I feel like I'm the only one who remembers that this man is the key reason to our issues !!

Sadly, inevitable.

I presume you’ve got the thread written and ready to publish!?
