NO! Recent history shows  that we LOSE games. And lose. And lose. And lose. And lose.......

Your 'recent' is clearly more recent than my recent :D:D   (Dean wants your script for the pre-match gee-up...).

Thanks.

I had no idea about all of that. I just punched random numbers into it and it came out with the above.

Well if you know all that you wouldn’t produce a fully formed final league  table and expect us all to be cheered by it. Look at our run of so-called winnable games so far - Palace a L , Villa h L , Bournemouth h L Who predicted that?

As I say the SST pragmatism should yield more points than we would have got under BR but it’s still a high wire act with brittle players in high pressure games. We will spend a fair amount of the next few weeks still in the relegation zone (I see Newcastle is now Monday as well), playing to climb out of it on live TV. That brings its own psychological pressure.

Where's that specific expectation? All I did was post what I thought lol lol

What you expect is totally out of my control.

It's just a simple prediction. No need to go scrutinise it to the nth degree.

Had us winning against Wolves, Leeds & Everton, lose against Fulham, Liverpool & Newcastle. BUT, we're safe before the West Ham game based on the other results.

Looks like a specific expectation to me - based on you getting all the results right - not just ours! I’m sure you’re that good Stan!!

What's our record usually like on Monday night football? Seeing as 3/7 games are on it, an Fulham away also on a Monday.

This season

Nottm Forest (H) - 4-0

Newcastle (H) - 0-3

1 win, 1 loss.

No Monday games last season:

20/21

Crystal Palace (A) - 1-1

Crystal Palace (H) - 2-1

1 win, 1 draw.

That's just more an observation as opposed to give hope or cheer to anyone!

Just my own musings on how the results pan out :)

Have in it my brain that we'll win most of the remaining wins, and not losing..

Player's confidence/morale will be higher with a new manager in and, with hopefully a win on Saturday, more will follow through.

People should write Smith off for being at 'lesser' club.

The trio balance of Smith, Shakespeare and Terry - with their different strengths- could really be something great potentially.

I think Everton, Forest and Leeds all have a lot worse run ins compared to us esp Forest they are done for.

Maybe. To be honest i think there is only one team anyone in the run in fears and that's Man City.  I think it possible for any club to get a result against all others, and i include Arsenal in that. Liverpool can hammer someone one week, and lose to a bottom 3 club a week later.

We've just got to get back to winning again.

I hope this post ages well.

Come on Smith and co. make me start enjoying football again by making the players run in a game and challenge for 50/50’s will be a great start.

Did the predictor thing.

Southampton relegated after GW36 (based on GD, officially after GW37)

Man City winning the title at home to Chelsea.

3-way fight between Everton, Leeds & Forest to survive...

Then final day pans out with Everton winning, but it not being enough as Leeds also win, so they go down with Forest. Oh, for shame!

The only sad thing is Newcastle end up with CL football...

No, sorry.

You've taken a mere prediction to heart a bit too much if this is how it's going to be lol

I said it earlier today. Teams are going to fancy a result against Arsenal.

West Ham are very beatable

Feelsgoodman waking up on a Sunday after a win.

Still all to do and much to play for - that applies to all teams around the bottom.

If we can harness the momentum and take at least 4 points from the next two, I think we’ll do it.

Leeds confidence at the back looks at rock bottom - their keeper looks like a little boy at the moment and their backup is Joel Robles who has never looked convincing.

I think the result on Tuesday will partly depend on what sort of a reaction their crowd can whip up.

It would be lovely if Newcastle could knock 7 bells out of Everton too.

If they’re getting ready for the conference league, already safe and away from home, it’s +3 for me.
