If they’re getting ready for the conference league, already safe and away from home, it’s +3 for me.

Precisely this.

Its probably the dream final day fixture if we need something that game

I’ve been tracking my own little run in just to see what I think will happen, so might as well share it:

Leicester:

Leeds (A) - 1 point

Everton (H) - 3 points

Fulham (A) - 0 points

Liverpool (H) - 0 points

Newcastle (A) - 0 points

West Ham (H) - 1 point

Total points = 33 points

Everton:

Newcastle (H) - 0 points

Leicester (A) - 0 points

Brighton (A) - 1 point

Man City (H) - 0 points

Wolves (A) - 1 point

Bournemouth (H) - 3 points

Total points - 33 points

Leeds:

Leicester (H) - 1 point

Bournemouth (A) - 1 point

Man City (A) - 0 points

Newcastle (H) - 0 points

West Ham (A) - 1 point

Tottenham (H) - 0 points

Total points = 32 points

Forest:

Brighton (H) - 0 points

Brentford (A) - 1 point

Southampton (H) - 1 point

Chelsea (A) - 1 point

Arsenal (H) - 0 points

Palace (A) - 1 point

Total Points = 31 points

Southampton:

Bournemouth (H) - 3 points

Newcastle (A) - 0 points

Forest (A) - 1 point

Fulham (H) - 1 point

Brighton (A) - 0 points

Liverpool (H) - 0 points

Total points = 29 points

I have it Southampton, Leeds & Forest going down. That win yesterday was massive for us.

So in 30 matches you have only 3 wins between the 5 teams in the battle, that’s not happening.

If we continue as per yesterday we will get more than 33 points.

Bournemouth West Ham probably doesnt really matter, both will pick up enough points between now and the end of the season either way.

Ultimately, it’s impossible to predict. I’ve simply gone off paper, as others have said 3 points for us against teams such as West Ham are very possible.

You want WHU beating Leeds in gameweek 37 to ensure they’re safe, then not giving a toss against us in the final game.

They’ve got 8 games left though, can’t see how they won’t be fine. Only need 2 wins, got some tough games though.

As well as hoping they’re in the city freebie league final.

We just have to win at Leeds and home to Everton!!

Any slip ups in these two games and we're toast!!

Nah we can draw one of them IMO.

It will obviously make it a lot harder for us in the final 4 games though.

32 points with the best GD going into the final 4 games is a good position to be in. 3 or 4 points from the final 12 keeps us up.

As crazy as that sounds in the last 25 matches combined the bottom 5 have won 2.

Just been looking at the table, it's hard to believe Leicester are only two wins less than Chelsea! :jawdrop: Either there bad this season, or it's very tight in the bottom half.

This is the form table of the last 20 games, probably not far off after Tuchel was sacked. It's no exaggeration to think the points he got them probably saved them from being in a relegation battle. Crazy.

Plus scored less than us. Just 14 scored only Everton with less.

It's the 3 or 4 points from the final 12 that worries me!!..

Need to win the next two please!!

And to think we handed Chelsea 2 wins on a plate. Imagine if we had done a proper job on them both games.

I honestly can’t see Bournemouth not picking up a win in their remaining 6 games. Their next two games are Southampton and Leeds, surely 3 points there will be secured, if it’s 1 or 0 then they’ll be dragged back into it.

The more I look at the table and the fixtures the more I think 36 points will be needed with our GD, don’t think 34 or 35 will be enough.

We’ll know much more by Sunday evening and then even more so by Monday night, but I think we’re gonna need 3 points against Everton. 1 and we’ll then need 2 wins in the last 4 games, we’ll struggle to get that. 0 and we may aswell kiss goodbye to the PL, IMO of course.

Hope to check in this thread again on Sunday night with Forest and Everton still on 27 and 28 points.

Leeds fixtures look awful after Bournemouth on Sunday.

If they get more than 4 points, they'll have done well. I think they're going. They looked awful. We had more swagger. 2 or 3 texts I've had from neutrals all said we looked miles ahead.

If Everton struggle v Geordie (big if) this could be as binary as us beating Everton plus 1 win.

I’d be amazed if Tottenham don’t roll over for them on the final day.
