Worst player..genuinely too many to mention, however Ndidi for me has been beyond attrocious, the drop off in his game has been astonishing

Worst performance..again too many to mention, personally the Blackburn game, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, we put out a more then competent starting 11 and got bullied, outplayed, outfought and outthought

Biggest transfer flop..Tete, the fanfair when he arrived was huge, we all thought we had signed the Brazilian Riyad Mahrez, turns out we got the Brazilian Josh Lowe, feel for him slightly as you can tell he's a confidence player but the prem is a step too much for him

Biggest bottle job of the season..where do you start, I would go back to the first game of the season, 2-0 up against Brentford, cruising in the game, then completely capitulated in a game in which turns out we should have lost, even then I think we could all see we were in massive trouble

On a serious note though special mention for Nacho, the man blows hot and cold, some games looks like a prime R9, others turns up like Mark De Vries but you can't say he never ever gives up, he has an attitude in which I wish all our other players had, we might not have been in this state then

Biggest Bottle job is tough.

Either a Top for not sacking Rodgers or Barnes every time someone tackles him and he pulls away.

Worse player is surely Ward but there have been some other candidates.

Might not be a popular choice, but Nachos performance at Southampton was horrific,

Without doubt. A good striker would have scored a hat trick.

Worst Player: Danny Ward (although player is exceptionally generous)

Worst Performance of the Season: Ward vs. Tottenham Away

Biggest Transfer Flop: Kristiansen but he’s still got time (if it counts selling Kasper is comfortably #1)

Biggest Bottle job of the season: Top

Slowest walk to take a corner when losing ,,.............James Maddison

Getting caught in possession......................................Youri Tielemans

Falling over when running for the ball.........................Patson Daka

Ive done the hard bit what do i do with the ball now..Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

I would add to that:

Fastest substitution whilst protecting a one goal lead going into stoppage time: Nacho vs Wolves.

I know this is in jest - but im not having that. He's just a kid, and that pass to Castagne has litteraly kept us in the Relegation fight.

No fair enough, I should have gone Tete, I suppose I'm just most frustrated by Kristiansen because I initially let myself think he'd make a big difference to our defense but not fair to judge on my expectations.

Worst decision: hanging on to Rodgers and getting rid of Kasper

Worst performance: Southampton or Fulham.

Worst player: Ndidi, Tielemans, Ward

Person  most likely to score a Hatrick and perform at a world class level against West Ham when relegation is confirmed: James Maddison.

Person most likely to be the lowest rated player against Newcastle and Liverpool: James Maddison

Person with the most US presidential sounding name: James Maddison

Person who I’m not remotely bothered about leaving us despite some good moments: James Maddison

Worst player: Danny Fraud, he’s just dire. I can’t believe people wanted to drop Kasper for him.

Worst Performance: Fulham, when we needed a performance most this season, they went out and produced that. We’re gone.

Biggest Transfer Flop: Vestegaard, even though it was last season, can’t stand that signing, and Rodger’s arrogance around it.

Bottle Job of the season:  Brentford first game of the season. After a horrid, negative summer, a convincing home win would have really calmed it all down. We dominated that game, made them look shit. Instead we threw a easy game in which they offered nothing at all. From there the negativity compiled. Its gone on to define the season in my eyes. I firmly believe if we see that out, we won’t be here. Real butterfly effect moment.

I know everyone is jumping on Maddison now and he’s not helped him self after games, but he’s an easy target. Realistically, without him we’d be below Southampton and long gone.

Worst Player: Soumare - yes the last few performances have been better, but for the majority of the season he has been absolutely shocking. How he was continuing to be picked is beyond me. Danny Ward is probably the actual worst though. Keeping him as #1 is probably one of the worst decisions Rodgers ever made. And there's a lot.

Worst Performance of the Season: in terms of individual, far too many to pick out. In terms of team, Brighton away or Spurs away early in the season. Bournemouth at home trumps them I think though. Had no business losing that.

Biggest Transfer Flop: Faes - given the lack of other transfers, not much choice. He can be a bit erratic and costly at times. Got a lot of drive about him but there's only so many times you can watch someone throw their arms up in the air in frustration at their own mistakes or others.

Biggest Bottle job of the season: - Bournemouth at home. That was just pathetic all round.

Southampton away as well considering their home record, gifting them their first clean sheet of the season.

Maybe but rightfully we expect more of our more expensive, talented players. If he actually demonstrated a desire on the pitch it would be a different matter.

Is our POTS Justin or Cags by default?

I'd still go for Maddison.

The chumps around him have let themselves down. Not that he's been pristinely perfect, but he's still scored and assisted (which is his job) while we've been generally shit. Perhaps if others were better, he'd have even more goal contributions to his name.

We've scored 49 goals this season and he's had a hand in 19. Imagine if there were just 4 or 5 more to that total, we definitely wouldn't be 19th with the extra points those goals would carry.

Absolutely, for starters that penalty against Everton. I think he’s trying too hard and the pressure is too much now. He shouldn’t have been made captain personally, he’s dropped since then. He played well against Spurs that first game but since then he’s been trying too hard and it’s hurt his performances and ultimately our league status.

But 19 goal contributions in 29 games for a team in 19th, with some mesmeric performances and having to play with an injury is a very good season. We just know how good he is, and we expected him to save us.

Worst Player: Ward

Worst Performance of the Season: Fulham (A), Brighton (A),

Biggest Transfer Flop: Still last season or before Festergaard, Daka, Bertrand, and for me Smithies why bother?? just promote a young keeper and get him the experience than pay prob 25-40k a week to sit on his arse each weekend!

Biggest Bottle job of the season: Fulham (A) needing points, Southampton (A) just rolled over with a wimper, and Madders Peno v Everton

Posted

Worst Player:  Ward (miles below standard)

Worst Performance of the Season:  Brighton Away (set a terrible blue print for the season)

Biggest Transfer Flop: Vestergaard  (Meant we couldn't buy Lookman - What a disaster that proved to be - although I appreciate we did really need defenders)

Biggest Bottle job of the season: Fulham Away (When the pressure was really on this lot showed their true colour(s )- Very brown and stunk the place out)

Anti Hero of the Season - Rodgers - when the going got tough he effectively downed tools and called everyone else out - A complete coward
