People are angry and upset and rightly so, this guys end of year assessment wont / shouldn't be very pleasant reading, even a self assessment by Rudders himself, of achievements this Season would reveal he has achieved little, any self respecting person would be drafting a resignation letter ready to hand in after the Newcastle match.

Hasn't Huth completed a qualification to be Director of Football?

Time to get them both in a room, snap a pool cue in half, throw the pointy end in and see who wants the job more.

Huth would be superb but he'd probably upset too many people.

Probably no idea who Rudkin is

We're in H and I was joining in. Some bloke turned round and shouted "so where's the money come from with no board? Idiot"

That what you're up against. Brain dead Muppets who don't know who does what.  Some of them wear King Power scarves not LCFC ones, I swear to God.

Is that you again Brendan

If Top was reluctant to sack Brendan, then I have little hope he'll sack Rudkin, since Rudkin has tapped his face thoroughly and completely to Top's arse. Unless Top unexpectedly wakes from his seemingly comfortable slumber and realises the smiling imbicile looking up at him then I'll just watch Rudkin continue what Brendan started until we get the point where even a devout cult follower would start to question things, or league one as some call it. I'll be watching us as more a cautionary tale than a football club for the next five or so years.

did you hear that from Jon Rudkin himself by any chance...?!?

Wouldnt be the first time hes thrown someone else under the bus to deflect attention away from himself.

Our hands were tied with FFP and not being able to sign anyone in the summer. Rodgers wanted to freshen things up as he knew the signings of 2021 - Soumare, Daka etc weren't good enough. Also contracts were going run down on players which as we know has caused them to down tools. I'm sure Tielemans would have gone if they could have had signings coming in. We have always relied on excellent recruitment and when that goes wrong we have no room for manoeuvre. We are not a Chelsea or Man City who can just buy their way out of situations.

If Rudkin stays, it tells you everything you need to know about what path we will be on, the more he gets away with doing nowt the more he will do nowt and further decline will happen, wake up Top and start the cull now starting with the DOF (Director  of Failiures), at LCFC.

I always thought Puel would have been a better DoF than a team manager. He had a clear vision and strategy, knew how to pick a player and apparently was liked by the younger players coming out of the academy system. But not such a good team strategist and he did not inspire the players to give their all. Replace Rudkin with Puel? I don't know who would be the best to manage the team. I don't think Pearson should come back but we do need someone of that ilk who will stop at nothing to get the team to play as he wants.

In most business ventures, the most culpable person that oversees a gross abject failure usually gets toasted. The Club needs a total refresh and this can only happen with a serious cull including within the historical coaches and Academy set up. Changes in half measures will prevent many new ideas and changes of direction very difficult to bring introduce. Turkeys never vote for Christmas.

Unless we get a new proven DOF before we appoint the next manager, I fear we will be wearing EFL arm patches for several seasons to come.

Purge required Top.

He would be perfect. But after all this shit we gave him I can see why he would be reluctant. Puel and Pearson would make a bizarre DOF and manager duo.

There wont be a protest, upset or anything against Rudkin or anyone else. Its just not in us collectively as a fan base.

I still remember on a match thread on here when Rodgers being questioned one guy (who I can't remember) went off on one claiming to be involved in football (he actually worked for the club shop once) and that Rodgers shouldn't be questioned - we were 3-0 down at the time. How you going to convince that level of mentality that things are not right at the moment and questions need to be asked.

If Rudkin left tomorrow, not one of the 19 clubs would want him. If Top was to sell tomorrow, not one of the other 19 clubs would want him as owner. Its only right to question what is happening here given the significant drop in such short period and the signs that things are only going to get worse (at least from a football front). But you're not going to get it. You'll get those without a clue, questioning, insulting etc. But you wont get genuine questioning of those in charge. That's one thing I am sure of in our next 5 years.

...Tielemans has his own agenda, we just go along with what he wants!!!

I was quite relieved that there were no funds for Rodgers to spend in the summer, he could not be trusted with who he would have chosen to bring in. Half of FT felt exactly the same prior to the summer window.

Where would Tielemans have gone, he was running down his contract, why would he have changed that policy, even if we had bought 6 more players in? He was not going to be sold, it would have made no sense for him.

This seems as if you are trying to advocate for Rodgers, I am not sure how you could do it, but obviously, you are entitled to your views.

Interesting point Puel never had the greatest coaching or motivation skills but certainly had good knowledge of the youth setup here and how to develop younger players.

...Puel's man-management was pretty much flawed, it was his Achilles heel!!!

Everything in life deals with communication and if you cannot do so, it would hold you back.
