I dare you to give an example where the fans booed when we played decent football?

Maybe it was remiss of me not to keep a spreadsheet recording the exact times and contexts when booing occurred :dunno:

Well, it was quite a biG point and I don’t ever recall it happening, especially in a season where we have been mostly awful. Presume you must didn’t like any booing.

Part 3 of who's to blame for Leicester's relegation - GOALKEEPERS - https://foxesofleicester.com/2023/06/02/blame-leicester-city-relegation-3/

spoiler

Guess which goalkeeper had the worst save percentage of any Leicester City goalkeeper of the last 9 seasons??

Then guess which goalkeeper had the second worst save percentage?

Clue - they both played in goal this season

oh and Alex Smithies is on £30,000 a week to be a third choice goalie who will never play for us

This club is massively broken

At least Bertand is off, but we might still have too many left backs

Really enjoying reading this, especially the tete part, will be interesting to see where he goes next and if they give him the role he thrived (for a short time) in.

glad you enjoyed them - helped me get all this out of my brain - very cathartic

Rodgers.

Top.

Players.

In that order.

Top for not providing good enough tools for the manager, letting players run their contracts dry, and letting Rodgers walk away and paying him £10M to do so, what a dipstick.

Some players for either downing tools and just not giving it their all

The section of fans who wanted Rodgers out

Maddison for the backpass at home to Bournemouth, wasn't looking, and for missing that penalty against Everton, waaaaaaay too lax on both occassions.

Rodgers for not bringing good enough attacking players to the club (partly Top's fault), that was his only error in my book.

Bournemouth for not giving it ago last game.

Who ever let that little Tin tin looking mother bitch Adam Sadler manage 2 games. If Smith had been in charge I believe we would have stayed up.

The fact that ANY of our multiple shite loses/draws would have saved us if we turned them into a win.

Brentford (H)

Southampton (A)

Bournemouth (H)

Leeds (A)

Everton (H) Thank you so much James Maddison.

If we could have just turned ONE of them into a win we would have survived.

Don't do it to yourself. I am still absolutely distraught about it but this isn't the way to look at it. I could quite easily tell you 5 or 6 games we scraped a point or win and shouldn't have.

The fact is to be anywhere near the relegation zone was an utter disaster. To let it go on as long as they did even more so.

I would be looking at the board and other high-ranking officials in the club. The club CEO and director need to be held accountable for their business failings. The club got relegated and failed in its main objective of staying in the Premier lge. I believe that Roger's stance on the lack of activity in the summer was again him proving a point. But a so-called elite manager should of be able to get the best out of players.

Top has been misinformed and guided by the director of football so you need to heavily look at Rudkin. Can we bring a director of football who has a track record and knows the industry? The recruitment team needs a rebuild not been the best so what does this Martin Glover do?

U only got to look at TOP , he failed to strengthen the team two years in a row when we could have finished in the top four , just think how much money we could have banked if we had played in that comp two years in a row , if only he had brought 1-2 players

You blame the section of fans that wanted Rodgers out but also blame Rodgers 🤔

The buck stops with the chairman lads. The chairman employs the CEO, Director of Football and the manager. He had the power to change this but didn't. That is the bottom line.

Rodgers by a mile.

If he did his job properly we wouldn't be relegated but he downed tools and waited and waited to be sacked and I believe after the Palace game told Top and Rudkin he wasn't suitable. Rodgers threw his toys out the pram at the start of the season, no question about that from me.

I can forgive Top to an extent as he thought he had a top class manager and it would have cost a fortune to sack him and he would have been replaced by a supposedly inferior manager so he held on waiting for the tide to change. He did wait far too long though.

The sympathy being given to Top is simply astonishing.

What a lot of fans are failing to consider is the outcome of relegation isn't the definitive barometer of failure for us, we've been in freefall in more ways than just the results on the field. Even if we'd somehow stayed up, do you think Top has grasped what's gone wrong and corrective action to give us the best possible opportunity to compete as a top 10 PL club to match the clubs confusing strategy?

The answer to that appears to be a hard NO. If it's something else then there's scant evidence, nothing looks to be changing.

We are potentially in a period of waiting for further decline and maybe action is finally taken or more likely, his family are forced to sell up. I hope I'm wrong but the club has done itself no favours in the way they conduct themselves.

Totally agree on Rodgers downing tools and throwing his toys out of the pram - but as bad as he was, he can't sack himself can he? The board/Rudkin/Top should have been aware that it wasn't working under Rodgers
