West Ham have 55,000 in a 62,000 or whatever it is too I've just read, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Why wouldn't we want more of our own fans to get in and have ST particularly this season?

If that's the case then why not, guarantee a big crowd for every game and much more affordable than match by match. Demand is there. However, the club will want to sell expensive match tickets and memberships no doubt.

West Ham also made new coming STH buy ST for 5 years. I believe this also applied to old STH too. Good marketing from them to be honest. We need to apply something similar when/if the ground expansion happens.

Ipswich won't fill our away end. Never have.

I've got it done as 7 teams who will fill the full end. Birmingham, Cov, Leeds, Mboro, Norwich, Sheff Wed and Sunderland

Edit: Coventry up to now have never filled our away end however their away support has got alot better since we last played them.

Rubbish - they are a reunited club on the up……they will be a threat next season for the play offs and have sold out at home and away for all of the second half of the season

Leeds and Ipswich always used to be the two worst. Leeds are swines - moved their away end to their posh stand so they could sell more expensive tickets. They used to be something like £36 in this league. No idea what it'll be now though.

I’m sure they charged us £46 last time we played them in the championship

Ipswich

Still never sold out an away end here. Most they've ever bought is just over 2k.

Their away support may have gotten better who knows. I know they recently took 5k to Barnsley but then again they were getting promoted.

Great work @Ashley cheers, some are cheaper than I expected.

Not many grounds I haven't done in there so excited for Rotherham as a new ground and also one of my closest aways.

Going to be interesting to see how much our away attendances fall off. Hoping I’ll have the chance to get hold of a few more tickets than I did when in the PL.

Yep that's my hope, don't wanna buy a membership or another drab visit to the KP. Just wanna get to an away game on general sale. I remember doing it in the early 2000s

We give far too much of the stadium to away fans. Time to get more of our own in.

It’s ok saying that but will we get near sell outs? I ain’t sure

Waiting to hear on membership news.. no doubt you’ll need one.. great info thanks. Think there is about 7 I need to do but they are all treks, nearest Rotherham, furthest Sunderland..

Where’s everyone else’s nearest and furthest they need to do?

Why do I get the feeling Leicester will be away first Friday night on sky? When the fixtures are released, does anyone know if that will include the carabao cup draw? Round 1 this year?

Nearest I need to do is Rotherham. About 25 miles. I went to Millmoor and, sadly, Don Valley but missed the friendly at their new ground the other year.

Furthest I need to do is Swansea, approx 220 miles.

We won’t be in round 1 as we finished 18th. Nearest of the grounds I need to tick off is prob Plymouth. Furthest is prob Swansea, although I can fly into Bristol so logistically it isn’t bad

I've done some quick research today on Ticket Prices for Championship teams and rough allocation we'd likely get. I thought back to our previous campaigns in the Championship where we were getting charged north of £40 for the likes of Ipswich, Leeds and Sheff Wednesday. I've done the below on average then highest prices for last season.

Birmingham City - £27.50 - £32: Allocation roughly 2,000 – 2,300 (Believe the allocation is smaller as St Andrews is currently at a reduced capacity)

Blackburn Rovers - £30 - £35: Allocation roughly from 3,000 to 7,000

Bristol City - £28 - £33: Allocation roughly 3,400

Cardiff City - £25: Allocation roughly 3,000

Coventry City – £33: Allocation roughly 4,500

Huddersfield Town - £25 - £30: Allocation roughly 2,000

Hull City - £27 - £32: Allocation roughly 3,000 - 3,700

Ipswich Town - £30: Allocation roughly 2,000

Leeds United - £30: Allocation roughly 2,800

Middlesbrough - £25 - £31: Allocation roughly 3,000

Millwall - £29/£30: Allocation roughly 3,500(includes bottom tier)

Norwich City - £30: Allocation roughly 2,400

Plymouth Argyle - £26 - £30: Allocation roughly 2,000

Preston North End - £28: Allocation roughly 2,300

Queens Park Rangers - £30: Allocation roughly 3,000

Rotherham United - £23 - £25: Allocation roughly 2,500

Sheffield Wednesday - £20 - £25: Allocation roughly 2,500 (Leppings Lane has a reduced capacity currently)

Southampton - £30: Allocation roughly 3,300

Stoke City - £30: Allocation roughly 2,800

Sunderland - £20 - £30: Allocation roughly 3,000

Swansea City - £30: Allocation roughly 2,000

Watford - £27 - £30: Allocation roughly 2,300

West Bromwich Albion - £20: Allocation roughly 2,000 (looks like WBA have giving smaller away allocations recently)

Leicester - We know members of the club actively read this forum, could we as a club write to all other Championship clubs and agree on a price for us visiting them and them us? say £25 also can we reduce our away end? We were the biggest away end in the Premier League for a number of years offering somewhere near 3,3?? tickets surely as a club you could make the segregation move and make our away end 3,000? We only just get 3,000 at Old Trafford and The Emirates, so it can be done.

“Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club's certified capacity, if less than 2,000.” The EFL rules state.

I think if we give 3,000 it doesn’t make any difference as to whether we give them the full allocation as it would affect the concourse arrangements.

But in effect, you’re right. Give everyone the min 2000.

No new grounds for me, unless we get someone rogue in the league cup.

I went to Leeds with Forest the season they got promoted and I’m pretty sure it was £42.  The match was on Sky as well.
