We're still trying to sign a new striker.

Grejohn Kyei (Clermont, French League 1) is an option, but apparently a return of Thomas Henry is also a possibility

Looks like Verona are signing Idah from Norwich which would free up Thomas Henry

wow 1-0 down to genk but turned it around with goals in 80 and 90 mins. hope they can hold on for a huge win!

Very deserved, unlucky to go 0-1 down with an owngoal but superb reaction and plenty of chances. Should have won by a bigger margin, if anything.

Garcia doing an excellent job, looking more and more solid defensively by the game.

No Raman, probably no Henry, haven't hear anything about Kyei anymore either. Akimoto to replace Mendyl, Russo to replace Shlomo, and that's probably it. Hugely disappointing transfer window, again.

Transfer deadline has passed, and as feared it's been a hugely disappointing window. Osifo is an interesting addition, but in all honesty we've only replaced players that are leaving: Osifo for Holzhauser, Russo for Shlomo and Akimoto for Mendyl. Every transfer period the same issues.

Very disappointed in our board and King Power!

Royally effed last night apparently. Personal agreement with Raman and Anderlecht, but he last minute pulled out for Samsunspor and the money (despite saying two weeks ago that he didn't want to move abroad because of his kid). Also a personal agreement with Verona and Henry, but Verona pulled the plug at the very last moment, nobody knows why..

Sounds familiar.

Nice upturn in form there, joint-fifth best.

Are you seeing improvement in the performances as well?

Performances have been good .

The new manager and his staff are doing a good job. We concede less goals than before and we also play more attacking football.

If we had this manager at the beginning of the season we wouldn't have been in this position.

We've brought this on ourselves by waiting until the final days/hours of the transfer window to do our transfer business (AGAIN!!!).

It's been clear since September that we needed a new striker and maybe an extra winger. We had enough time to scout players and make a list of guys we could sign in January, but it looks like we weren't prepared at all (AGAIN!!!).

I understand that we're a small team and that we can't sign a world class striker. I also understand that, as a small team, we have to compete with other teams for certain players so we can't sign them on the first day of the transfer window and have to show a little patience as negotiations take some time. It just seems like we put our eggs in 1 or 2 baskets and paid the price for it (AGAIN!!!).

Looks like we had a decent amount of money, so I don't really blame KP for this failure. It's clearly our scouts and Jacobs are the ones to blame. The fact that they would come up with a player like Benjamin Tetteh in the final hours of the window shows how desperate and unprepared they were. I really believe the average Football Manager player can come up with better players than they do. It just time for KP to kick some people out and hire new scouts and a new director of football.

Absolutely this. Would also like to add that we not only concede less, we also give away very little ever since the winter break. Conceded twice, one deep cross that got carried by the wind and flew in and an own goal. Both in games where it looked like we could have played another ninety minutes without conceding.

Wouldn't exactly call it more attacking, but it's very, very solid defensively and even in the event where we go behind (like our last game against Genk), we very clearly have a plan B where we can go from very defensive to more attacking in the blink of an eye.

Completely agree that with Garcia at the helm from the beginning of the season, we would probably be in a way better position.

Rudkin?

He's actually part of the problem as he's one of the people who decides which players we sign and don't sign :D
