EastAnglianFox Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 As I and many have said on the his thread. Fvck him off, get Castagne gone, use the money gained from that weird tw@t and get Hamer in. Enzo already rates him, surely it can be this easy to sort 2

Guest Kopfkino Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 (edited) Baffles me that people think we could go and spend 12-15m quid on a player whilst we’ve got 3 or 4 players on handsome wages not even making the squad. Theres a reason we’re currently shopping for loans in 2 key positions Edited 8 August 2023 by Kopfkino
dbtcity Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 Would be disappointing to miss out on him but we’ve seen what a few players not wanting to be here can quickly do to the team dynamics! If he doesn’t want to come bin off the offer and move onto the next
FrankieADZ Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 shame as I think Casadei would have done well here, I do wonder who theyd look at as a potential plan B so to speak, I would say Hamer but are we looking for someone with height as well as playing ability or just the ability part I agree with the people calling for Hamer, he really impressed me Sunday but I still think that would be hard for us to complete.
st albans fox Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 ‘Go buy hamer’ it might be rather more difficult than that - if cov are willing to sell then will be to a prem side 4
Fuch Me Moore Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 This will still happen in my opinion. Just because he might prefer to go to Italy doesn't mean he hates the idea of joining us. 1

LCFCJohn Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 He either thinks he is above playing in the Championship or doesn’t back himself enough. Unclear which. As a 20 year old, he should get his head out his arse if he thinks he is above this level already…
STUHILL Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 Does make you wonder why we would be chasing a player all this time, if he doesn't want to play for us. Surely, that would be the first thing you would get an idea for. We do seemed to have hyped him up as the second coming of Christ but his time at Reading wasn't great on paper, so maybe if we already have another option who genuinely wants to be here, it will turn out for the best.

It also looks like all Prem interest has cooled. Burnley linked to other targets including Berge at Sheff Utd might mean that triggers SUFC targetting him, although very different profiles. 1
Spudulike Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 Not sure why the upset if we miss out. Wasn't he a bit crap on his previous Championship loan at Reading. 4

Looks like he was open to it, and Maresca really wanted him but now there is a Serie A interest, he wants to pursue that. Interesting how Chelsea now proceed as they appear to want him to move to us.
FrankieADZ Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 (edited) told you Hamer to sheff utd is very possible Edited 8 August 2023 by FrankieADZ

Dan Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 If we have the money to support it I think we sack this and go and buy Hamer. He clearly doesn't fancy us.

I don't want a player here who would rather be elsewhere despite his club wanting otherwise. He has clearly had a good look at us and our situation i.e Championship favourites under and Italian Manager, and still doesn't fancy it! Just hope we have other irons in the fire, as this would have been a much needed signing for us in that midfield role. Hes a young Italian lad who gets the opportunity to go home for a year and be near his family while playing against Champions league quality sides rather then Plymouth. Cant blame him tbh 5

He did his time in this wretched division last year then tore the U20 World Cup a new one. If he thinks he’s good enough to play in a top league then fair play, we need to move on?

Seems to be that Leicester and Chelsea were all on board early, and it is the player himself that has not been convinced. I suspect both clubs thought they could convince him, but have failed so far. 1
