No he didn't, he said (sarcastically, i believe) that there would be a FT melt down - ie, loads of posters would lose their shit because once you tell them something it is gospel and any deviation from that they are incapable of processing.

Here’s the quote but don’t care - have little reason to believe currently that this won’t get announced soon so not particularly bothered it’s not been announced yet - enjoy your weekend!

“If nothings announced by 9pm tomorrow then feel free to have a melt down.”

Lazio have been sniffing around last minute.  A Champions League team based in Rome, you have to assume his representatives are at least in communication with them.  Doesn't mean he won't still come here but surely that's what the delay is about.

...according to @Sambiasso this is "..signed and sealed!!!"

This information contradicts that statement.

Don’t think Chelsea would want him to go there on the basis of limited game time

Part of me hopes this does fall through because he doesn’t like the pillows at Seagrave. Serves the club right for building a multi-million pound training facility then procuring the soft furnishings at Dunelm.

Funny you should say that, bought some new pillows from Dunhelm on Friday and they are awful. Far to soft even if you use 3,

Anyone considered Chelsea are waiting to bring in Caicedo before letting Casadei leave? Would make a lot of sense.

Not really. They've got near infinite money, they're planning on spending 100m on someone. They can afford basically any midfielder in the world.

They're not just going to magically turn around and decide this kid will do.

In terms of playing personnel no, but in terms of them not caring about any outgoings until their incomings are sorted then sure. In the same way I'd hope we would ensure we get our incomings done before we look at potential loans out for our own players.

They play in totally different positions so I doubt it.

It would be quite a shock to see him used in the Caicedo deal given he's going to Liverpool for over £100mill, but hey, we're used to seeing weird shit in football!

I’m referring to the fact that they are short on central midfielders. Regardless of how much money you have it would be dumb business to make yourself even weaker at a weak position prior to bringing in reinforcements.

That's not how you do it at all !

Desperate for a right winger so you bring in a great big lump of Danish shite - that's how you do it
