He won’t care!

80 bags keep dropping in each week, what happens to him in the summer will be interesting.

i think Birmingham will pick him up.

so im sorry to be a Boblet..

yes he does earn 80k a week, but  agent gets 10-20% and then tax on top of that is 50%. So he probably takes home ONLY 25-30ka week. poor fella. lol

but year, he does earn 80k per week.

Typically agents fee's are paid by the buying club not from player to agent. Tax is 47% ;)

to my knowledge there are two different transactions that go on… the transaction to obtain the players services  ‘ facilitated’ by the agent that the club pays and  a weekly fee that the player pays to retain the services and representation of the agent, usually a percentage of their salary.

I'm no accountant....

Nice to see he has property deals with a Luxembourg investor. Not as thick as looks then?

If we can somehow sell him, on the cheap or free. Then least hes off the books. Will help balance the clubs finances.

I'm guessing no one wants him on his inflated wages.

Has to pay NI as well, so probably pays over 50% in total.

In the 1970s, the top rate of UK income tax on earned income reached 83% on income over £20,000, and with an investment income surcharge, the top rate on unearned (investment) income was as high as 98%

His NI would be 2% I believe. 8% paid on ~12,000-50,000 a year which in respect of his salary wouldn’t even be noticed.

Agent % can vary, for example I know an agent who was representing a player and they were due to sign a 3 year deal with a club, the agent was going to get paid 100k up front as part of the player signing then 3% of his earnings for the first 2 years of his contract. This can be deducted and paid by the club or by the player to his representative directly.

No, you need to be a top footballer who is capable of managing his affairs without an agent.

Genuinely, I loved Winks until RVN came in.

Such a shame the whole fall out with our worst manager of all time causes a downfall this big.

Not true though is it as he's fallen out with Cooper, RVN and Marti. Also is Ruud any worse than Marti? Worse league and we've got no style of play or way to adapt!

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Winks play basically every game under Cooper?

Ruud is way worse than Marti, I really dislike Marti for the record but at least we are scoring some goals (although it is Prem vs Championship I guess). 9 games in a row with no goals surely has to cement him as the worst manager of all time, and this was with Vardy.

If his agent is getting £8k-£16k a week then he needs a new agent lol

Absolutely zero chance that he’s giving him that much a week. It’ll be much closer to 5%.
