I think sometimes folk forgot how shit we’ve been at times. I can name three worse than him easy.

Of course, because people forget really easily in football. However, we paid £17m for Kristensen. Some of the output these players have given is ridiculously poor given what’s been spent on them.

That’s a different question though. Slimani wouldn’t be considered one of our worst ever strikers but he defo wasn’t worth £40m

The club needs to do an enquiry this summer, not like the one we did in 2023 which was run by Rudkin, an actual external enquiry to determine who was involed in signing Kristiansen, Skipp, Coady etc. and sack the lot of them.

 

We had an underperforming academy left back who was struggling due to being thrown in the deep end too early and we somehow spent £15 million and bought someone worse.

Last season he started 26 games and came on as a sub in another 6, making 32 total league appearances for Bologna who finished 5th with the 3rd best defense in the league and qualified for the Champion's League. 

 

It's baffling seeing how lost he looks on a football pitch at the moment.

I think you've answered your own question. 

 

It's us, not him. Despite Coady saying it's the best atmosphere he's ever experienced on loop, the mood in the camp must be abysmal..

 

Losing every week. Certain defeat every week when the players hear who's playing and in what formation. Coaches as poor as Dawson leading sessions every day. And now it seems Barry Mcguigan isn't taken seriously either. Eduardo collecting triple VKs wages for nothing. Hamza collecting double. His mate Souttar frozen out of the club. Coady laughing and joking 24/7 would send me mad alone.

He also doesn’t help himself by hesitating which usually ends up with an error. 
 

If he crosses quickly, first time when in space rather than wait and get closed down, go for the loose ball he’s closer to or make the challenge first time he would be making less mistakes and have more confidence.

Not wanting to split hairs but according to TransferMarkt he was €16m which would have been closer to £12m

But yeah still pretty bad.

He's shit. He's always been shit. Did ok for Bologna in a comparably piss easy league as a wing back. And did so OK that they didn't want to by him even with a CL qualification windfall.

I would expect any player not making a squad to be disappointed but someone putting their own spin on how the conversation went v's how the manager said it went, just for likes (& i know you just forwarding what you have seen) is it a bit off.
I'm only posting to save the next 4+ pages being a pile-on on Kristianson thinking he barricaded the door not allowing Riemer to leave the room & then laid on the floor kicking & screaming.
