I remember at the start of one game he walks onto the pitch yawning, like he'd been on an all night bender. Another player who checked out months ago.

I'd argue he checked out 2 years ago

I rate Mavididi. Does a lot of hard work. Just lacks quality in the final 3rd. I wouldn't be opposed to play him as a wing back in a back 5.

I'd take a guess at his distance covered this season being at best bottom 10th percentile. @Stadt hit me up

FBref got rug pulled with its data recently, big void in public data now but I'll have a look

He doesn't like football. Looks blindingly obvious to me. Proper Ben White character. Only problem being Ben White is good at football whilst hating it lol

I would bet you're being very generous.

Particularly when compared to other wingers.

Calls for him to play up front are up there with some of the worst shouts of the past decade.

File it in the same folder as Demarai Gray....

He’s easy to hate because of his body language but I saw a good connection with Mukasa that reminded me of how he played with KDH. I still believe that the system we’ve played since Maresca has left and specifically the players that have played in this system haven’t helped either winger. The lack of a quality number 8 inside Mavs and Fatawu have allowed teams to double up, and without lightning pace this particularly impacts on a trick merchant like Stephy. The number 10 when it’s BDCR doesn’t offer enough support or a diversion as he’s lightweight and is barely more than a second striker. Now we have real quality in Mukasa I think Mavididi will show up better

The only positive in it would be, he'd stop being a greedy bastard in the final third out wide, since his job actually WOULD be to shoot on sight. Knowing him, he'd suddenly decide to start passing to his team-mates once we put him in a position where he's supposed to be receiving those balls. And drift out wide all the time rendering playing him centrally completely useless. Can just see it now - he'd essentially be a lightweight Ayew.

Don't want him in the team to be honest, his body language stinks and he's not got the performance level to make up for it.

Just seen a stat, Bilal El Khannous has more assists for us this season in the Championship then Mavididi does

That's because Mavididi smashes the ball at opponents arses or tries bending 1 in rather than helping his team.

Saturday for instance,  Ingored Daka loads

Lol. You have to be able to defend and have the desire to defend in the wing back role. You also need stamina. He has none of these attributes.

Yes, one half decent season under Enzo in the Championship (in a better team than we have now obviously) and that's about all we've seen from him, with his chipping in with the odd goal here and there, Ayew style!

Is he hoping the defender doesn’t put in a tackle or something? Might explain why in training he looks like a god if he’s going up against Ricardo every day
