There were a few times in the second half we had their defence under pressure, crosses went in and their keeper came and caught them. It just makes such a difference to the whole team and atmosphere in the stadium. He’s one of those who you want to do well but is unfortunately a big part of the problem not the solution and needs a break in my opinion to regroup.

I think Jakub's been the result of poor coaching and a lack of confidence

A decent man-manager and a proper goalkeeper coach would help him no end

No. He's just poor.

I posted criticism of him a few weeks ago calling him out for being poor at crosses, kicking out, and commanding his area and the defenders in front of him and I got a pasting in response.

I've seen no evidence since to suggest I was wrong.

Where are the people who said he has a higher ceiling than Hermansen?

Barking into their wardrobes.

(It's what my dog does because he's a bit daft)

up until the injury he was a perfectly reasonable keeper and plenty good enough for this level, but either he's not recovered properly, his confidence is shot or something else, but he's woefully out of form and needs taking out of the firing line.

What I can’t understand is why the club signed another keeper who hasn’t even made the bench. How do we manage to do this so often, surely it would be better spending our limited PSR funds on some players we are actually going to use. Where’s is that golding lad, the right back we signed? It’s just bizarre and more signs of utter malign at the club.  But yeah Rudkin is a bad cop, everyone is mean.

I think the evidence was there at the start of the season, before he was out for a few weeks with injury. I remember thinking at the time whilst not being at the level Mads was with his feet, the goalkeeping side of his game looked to be an improvement, particularly his command of the box. I’m sure statistically at least he was the best keeper in the division, around 10 or so games in I think.

That side of his game has looked very shaky since but his decline mirrors that of the rest of the team this season. There are bigger gaps in the squad which need to be filled, and if given a chance in a more cohesive team I still think he can push on to the next level.

Respect to your view  but I don't think he has it in him at this level, injury return or not. Poor defence is a factor but It's down to the keeper to tell them forcefully and loudly what the threat is. That's what KS was so good at. Commanding and directing his defenders.

He'd be okay at somewhere like Northampton Town.

Average keeper… decent at saving shots from distance when he has plenty of time to size it up… but put him under any pressure and he turns into prime Jordan Ayew wanting free kicks … every team needs a goalie who commands his area will bawl at his defenders and is confident…he is none of those things sadly ( he’s still better than Danny Ward tho)

Not at fault for either allowed goal. But the first one Charlton scored that was a legit goal was awful keeping lol

Funny thing is that a couple of those were the very things he was good at, at least for a modern keeper. Seems to have lost all confidence on crosses/corners.

Got a lot of potential but it just don't think he's got the concentration to make good on that (and obviously crap on the ball)

Generally hes been good at balls into the box, id agree, stats back that up as well.

When youre unsure of yourself you try and do too much and put yourself in bad positions. He seems to be in that mindset at the minute.

It’s a real issue with him and crosses, he’s got so bad at dealing with them. So lucky today to have one disallowed likewise with last week.

He doesn’t get himself in line with the ball.

It’s astonishing how Ward like he is.

The goalkeeping coaching is another complete shambles.

We are too loyal. He should be dropped. Begovic looked so much more well rounded than Stol but it seems we're trying to do everything to go against logic at the moment.

Begovic hasn’t been LCFC keeper coached and therefore his fundamentals are so much better.

He has to start now to the end of the season.

Needs dropping for a bit. He inspires no confidence at all. Begovic has his flaws too but you'd think he'd deserve a chance at getting us that elusive clean sheet.

Another one who’ll be given a wide berth by some because he’s a youth team product (aware he’s not from Leicester)

He’s getting absolutely slaughtered on here and has done for weeks. So I don’t think this is the case
