LVFox Posted 31 January 2024 Posted 31 January 2024 Reading more into this, seems to be that Inter want a mandatory future fee after the loan, and we want optional based on us getting promoted. Sensi will be on big wages for a championship side, so is prudent of us to insist on the option. Hope we have a simple loan for someone else in the background if this doesn't happen. 1
Scotch Posted 31 January 2024 Posted 31 January 2024 Could be that Inter started dicking around trying to amend the deal last minute and whilst we were negotiating that, started sounding out alternatives and stumbled on something better. 1
st albans fox Posted 31 January 2024 Posted 31 January 2024 We could be playing a blinder here get the player for nowt in July or they agree the 500k loan with no add ons on Thursday can’t see us being up to that though 1

Muzzy_no7 Posted 31 January 2024 Posted 31 January 2024 Personally think Inter are taking the royal P*ss. Sensi is someone they aren’t using and is on 80K a week there. His contract expires in the summer and he has been plagued with Injury issues while being in Milan. Quite frankly they are lucky to be getting Transfer fees offered for him. If it’s true they want a loan fee AS WELL AS another fee upon promotion (despite him being out of contract and them not receiving ANY other concrete offers) then that really is unreal. We give them 500K-1m and they save 1.5m in wages on top of that. That, for a player who isn’t featuring is a very good offer. They are playing on our desperation following the weird exit of Cesare. 1
Stopharage Posted 31 January 2024 Posted 31 January 2024 Praet was due to go to Torino but Enzo jeopardised that by playing him yesterday. So Torino have pulled the deal (£800k) and we’re now scrambling to find the Sensi fee.

Personally, I wouldn’t want to be paying £2 million for someone who can’t get a game at the club he’s at, has a suspect injury record, is on a high wage and is out of contract in the summer. And I’d certainly be even less willing to do that if the selling club had held onto him for a couple more weeks, taking him all the way to Dubai and back just to sit on the bench. 2

KingsX Posted 31 January 2024 Posted 31 January 2024 (edited) So we have these theories (with these chances of being true). Am I missing anything? - LCFC too skint to make deal happen without moving unsaleable deadwood (45% probability) - Inter taking the piss demanding a sell-on on a player out of contract (40%) - Rudkin still wasted after a 3 day blinder in Thailand (4.99%) - LCFC sharpening the deal to take advantage of Inter’s weak position (0.01%) Edited 31 January 2024 by KingsX 1
