That tonight is evidence as to why we will probably be promoted at a canter. Don't need to be anywhere near good to beat most of these teams.

To be fair they were no great shakes, but let's face it we couldn't ask for much more. I just think this level of quality we face in this league is not preparing us too well for next season. I can't believe the last time Pearson's side won the championship the level of quality was as poor as this.

Week after week I read on here that ****** are the worst team we've played this season. Maybe, just maybe, it's because we are so bloody good we make all other teams - except for a few- look crap.

Feel like we took our foot off the gas after 15 minutes. Never ever really troubled. Didn’t have to do to much to win, either.

Very lacking in mental strength need a good leader to kick some butts

How was it? Missed the first 20 mins, watched till half time and couldn't sit through any more so stuck Scunthorpe v Tamworth on :D

Good to get back to winning ways in the league and really shows why there's no need for panic. We're too good for most opposition at this level and it feels like a lot are beaten mentally before they step onto the pitch.

I thought overall Doyle was excellent tonight, our best defender and a lot of the fluid play we saw was from him. He's suspect at defending crosses though.

The crossfield switch he is superb at, and with it clearly being a vital part of something Enzo wants from the player occupying that position makes a massive difference.

He's coming back from a long term layoff and is probably still not quite upto speed however, like Daka, I feel he makes very good contributions to our overall play, especially in transition.

I think it's been coached into them. There are so many games that winning at a canter is preferred, even if it means a few last minute draws, to exhausting themselves chasing further goals. I guess it makes them fresher for the following games.

I think this was a Man City tactic as well.

I know Daka has got some stick today for the howler he missed and then another wild slash but he was integral to a lot of the positive play tonight.

He does need to sharpen up on his finishing, for a striker who's been known to be clinical he's often off balance when he's about to pull the trigger.

His pressing and bloody mindedness tonight was a huge influence though. Him and Cannon are the starters for me.

He needs to stop spending so much time on his arse screaming like a baby.

Totally agree created two goals as well although the penalty was a bit soft

An utterly boring game where we showed our frailties and turgidity once again. Could have won 5-0 and yet we were so slow, predictable and negative in patches.

Teams have worked out our style of play and adjust to it. We need to mix it up more
