I can't have Soumare in our side. He's everything wrong with this team in recent years. Flaky, lazy, inconsistent. We need him gone. He actually carries a bit of value as well, he fools enough of our fans somehow so I'm sure some French side will fall for it.

I really hope he leaves before the summer is out, offers absolutely nothing except a 30 second cameo in every game where he makes one or two lung busting runs, other than that he does nowt but jog about on the wrong side of his man, offers little offensively and looks like he doesn’t want to be here, if he can’t look half arsed in the premier league then I fail to see the likes of Preston, Hull, Oxford, Charlton et al lighting his fire. 
 

Terrible signing and a player who absolutely represents the massive drop off in culture, standards and attitude over the last 4 seasons.

Anyone have a rough guess what his book value is? What kind of money would we need to make a profit?

 

Edit: I reckon it's around £3m left to pay on him if his fee was spread over the 5 year contract

No-one's paying for their broadcast rights so none of them have got any money. Except one and  - call me crazy - I can't see him displacing Neves, Fabian Ruiz or Vitinha.

I mean no disrespect to you when I say this, but I hate all the talk of book value these days. And it's kinda pointless. Because it's irrelevant. 

 

If you want rid you have to accept you might have to take a loss over the next year, no different to how it was with one time losses pre-PSR. 

 

But mainly it's the first thing, football fans guessing book values and trying to pretend they know what the club would or wouldn't accept.... it's sad modern football has come to this.

It's not irrelevant when the club has been struggling to meet psr requirements. Every penny profit counts. 

 

Plus you could say that 99% of the things that get discussed on here are irrelevant. Guessing who our new manager will be, guessing who we'll sign, etc etc. It's kind of the whole point of a football forum. People discuss things about football.

I might have come across a little bit too strident in the managers thread but it's a gross error of judgement for Cifuentes to be playing him.

 

A) he's garbage and B) his attitude and effort have stank over 3 seasons.
