oh ffs! 

 

No Ricardo, then no inverted Enzo.  We cannot risk promotion on Hamza playing the role he isn't good enough to play. It was fine mid season when the pressure was off, but now we simply can't risk it.

Was buzzing for tomorrow as I don't get to many home games. Team news has knocked the sails out of me a bit.

 

Sounds like KDH has the best chance of the three which is significant as he doesn't have an obvious replacement. If Ricardo is out we absolutely cannot mess around with this inverted full back nonsense - play Justin as an orthodox right back. Goes without saying Daka cannot play given recent form so let's give Cannon a go please.

Q: Any fresh concerns?

EM: “We have some doubts over Jamie who had a kick in the week and Ricky because of the amount of games he has played. Kiernan has been unwell. Kasey is back.”

Q: Those are key players?

EM: “Very significant. For Jamie and Kiernan, it’s more a physical problem. Kiernan has been just unwell. We have still 24 hours. We’ll see if we can have them back.”

Q: Ricardo, can he play 90 minutes?

EM: “I don’t think Ricky has struggled this year. He has been fantastic in the way he has played and with his physicality. It’s normal he can have some problems. We’ll see for tomorrow.”

 

Coady and senior players

Q: Importance of senior players?

EM: “Senior players have been important all season. The pressure is higher and we can think that senior players can solve the problems.”

Q: Coady someone you can turn to?

EM: “He lives already some moments. When you live a moment and you live it again, you live it better. For sure he can help his team-mates.”

Q: What does Coady have to do to get into the team?

EM: “The same thing he is doing every day. I’m the manager, I decide. If Conor plays, Wout is out or Jannik is out. Since day one, he has been fantastic, more than fantastic. But at the end you have to take the decision. We are completely happy with Conor.”

 

West Brom

Q: What to expect from Baggies?

EM: “We know they are very intense off the ball. They have played all season with a line of four. Their structure doesn’t modify the way they work off the ball.”

 

Final four games?

Q: West Brom still have play-off place to secure. More difficult?

EM: “It’s not random that in the last two games we have lost, Leeds got just one points, Ipswich got just two points. Everyone is playing for something. It will be tough. Fortunately we play at home and we have the boost from our fans. When they help us like they did against Norwich and Birmingham, it’s like we have one extra player.”

Q: Advantage to be playing first?

EM: “If we win, yes. If we don’t win, no.”

Mind games but will we psyche ourselves out as we have been doing for the last 10 weeks? 

 

Those who are down it's difficult not to be with the lack of fight shown last year and then it being replicated this year. 

 

Feels as though we're getting our excuses in early - We paly Tues / Fri not fair - others play Weds / Sat - We have so many injuries ....... well so does everyone else and none of them have a squad as expensively assembled as ours 

 

Will we turn up tomorrow? Answers on a post card
