Few points:

- Send off for Sharky, and potentially Vardy was class, hats off to UFS for their part

- EFL chairman’s reception was spot on

- Brilliant to see the reaction from the players and the togetherness

- Vardy and Albrightons reaction to Shinji being there was priceless

- Time to spend some time off of here going by some of the posts from today, some couldn’t find happy if it slapped them in their face

I actually think @l444ry is right. We have celebrated this Championship on the levels of the 2016 in some respect. We should have never been in this position in the first place and I kind of feel a bit embarrassed at times.

 

Not saying don't celebrate to some degree, but to basically have a week partying, having players like KDH picking up stupid injuries and basically give up the last game of the season is unprofessional in my opinion. 

 

We should have been focusing fully on next year from the moment we won promotion looking to take momentum into next season. Instead it looked like 11 hangovers about to jet off on holiday.

Yes city have been crap at times this season......guess what ? So have everyone else at times.  We have also been very very good at times.  Regardless of who beat who and where they were in the league ( close rivals or relegation threatened teams), the final league table never lies.  The best team over 46 games finishes top.  Always.  Not even prepared to discuss this point.  Should arsenal be champions 15/16 because they did the double over us????? Thought not.  

 

Please stop whining everyone.  It may well be we get spanked every week in the prem but THIS season, the aim was to be promoted - its done. And as someone said the other day, premier "success" for us over the next few seasons means staying up, maybe breaking into top half and if we have that "success" it means it will be a LONG time before we have nights like Preston or a trophy lift like today.  Enjoy it

Didn’t know shinji was there, but when your celebrating and enjoying the moment those things pass you by.

Actually, all my posts today have suggested how much we will struggle unless we are ruthless and make some big changes over the Summer. 

Forest are well ahead of us currently, but that doesn't mean I can't say they are 'not good' does it? They are 1 place above relegation. Not good!

I’m amazed people are miserable already.

Yes I know we’re facing financial struggles, points deduction, losing players, and probably getting battered every week in the PL.  But can’t we just be happy for a couple of weeks at least?!!

Bit of a meh game, played by players that have been celebrating winning the league for a week. And so they should have!!

It doesn’t happen that often, and however much we shouldn’t have gone down we did, and getting back up is an achievement worthy of happiness!!

Well, that was a damp squib.

 

After all the euphoria earlier in the week of becoming Champions without actually kicking a ball I thought at the very least they'd want to go out on a high.

 

Obviously, the team had other ideas.

 

Need to concentrate on the Premier League now or we could find ourselves being a yo-yo Club as before.

Performance today sums up the season to he honest. We managed to cling on to the end and take the trophy but we have put in far too many performances like today's and it doesn't bode well for the future.
