Premier League clubs will be asked to vote on the possible abolition of VAR for next season; Wolves recently tabled a proposal

I'd absolutely love this.

Never, at any point this season, such as Daka's goal at Leeds being incorrectly ruled out, did I wish we had VAR.

Doubt the vote will go the way I want it too though.

I've always said I can live with honest reffing errors.  They might hurt at the time but overall they even themselves out over the course of a season.  Even though it helped us win the cup I would still do away with it

If you asked the fans I reckon 80% would be in favour of scrapping it.

Its absolutely no good for fans at the match. TV will hype it a bit because they are interested in drama wherever it comes from.

The current version of VAR is terrible and fans lose out.

Back to drawing board and design a proper VAR system that is quicker, involves the fans in stadium, and is used for specific decisions only.

Agree won't happen too much invested in the (flawed) system..

Remarkable really when you consider not so long ago many wanted change.

This reinforces the saying; "be careful what you wish for".

Wow, surprised by this as football in general seems to be making wrong decision after wrong decision.

Scrap it! Let's get that euphoric feeling back when you score a goal!

Just remove it from the game, the tech is ok but I can't see the PGMOL ever using it correctly
