I saw they ended up with Joel Carta after his release last season (via Corby). He didn't show anything after coming back from injury but really should have looked good at step 5. It doesn’t seem like many of Harboroughs current fringe players are staying with Malone, Forbes or Freddie Robinson not on the batch of retained players announced so far.
Durnerz Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 Happy with Shepshed Dynamo’s retained list. Three quarters of our defence remain but sad to lose Louis Nicholson back to Basford. A few good signings and it’ll be an interesting season. 2

Do you get a good atmosphere? Even though I lived in Shepshed for 20 years I only went twice. Sort of feel guilty that I didn’t show any real attention back then. It’s probably a club that should get much bigger attendances like Coalville. It’s interesting as Brackley has a smaller population with less towns around it but takes in 500 to 1700. I think we get a lot of ex-big club supporters making up numbers but it’s still a very small town. It would be great to see more Leicestershire clubs push up the leagues as there’s a lot of potential for them. Edited 31 May 2025 by FoxesFan#1

Really friendly volunteers, stadium is covered in most areas. Sky/BT on the box, decent programme and raffle/golden goal. Clubhouse is decent and the food is better than the offerings at the KP. Atmosphere-wise it can range from chilled out and quiet to a bit more noise depending on the opposition. I do a lot of the clubs media so I really enjoy going and covering the games. You’ll have a great time and it’s a good catchment area for new supporters. 5
MC Prussian Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 Oldham vs. Southend today. Would like to see the Latics back in the Football League, much more than the Shrimpers. 1
purpleronnie Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 Oh my word what a miss for Oldham. Catalogue of errors from them so far.
MC Prussian Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 That Yoganathan fellow is all over the place, just not on the pitch.
MC Prussian Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 Unbelievable comeback from Oldham. Third goal was a freak, but spectacular nevertheless. 1
Craig Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 Superb from Oldham. No promotions, cup finals, or play-off finals (until today) in 34 years or something 1
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 Oldham were 16/1 a few minutes ago and 2 goals in 90 seconds.... incredible
spacemunky Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 Valiant effort from Southend, but congrats to Oldham. Certainly wasn't an easy route to promotion.
Tuna Posted 1 June 2025 Author Posted 1 June 2025 Great to see Oldham promoted, a club that should never have been in non league. No promotions in 35 years is some record, unbelievable when you look at the drama we have had at LCFC in the last 10 years! 1
Super_horns Posted 1 June 2025 Posted 1 June 2025 Sounds like a good game . Congratulations to Oldham .

Guest Bilo Posted 2 June 2025 Posted 2 June 2025 I tend to agree, but the EFL won't. York deserved to go up this season, while Notts County got 107 points in second a couple of years back and had to rely on the playoffs for promotion. Could there be a system of the top two going up automatically with a play off between 21st and whoever won the NL play-off competition?

It’s true but the Ugglas are a disgrace, what makes this even better is they almost certainly bought Stones from Wigan to take him off Oldham as he was on a mission there before January.
Tuna Posted 2 June 2025 Author Posted 2 June 2025 It's sour grapes from York, they have short memories, finished 22 points behind Brackley in the season they went up from the north and won the playoffs.
filbertway Posted 2 June 2025 Posted 2 June 2025 They just need to move it to 2 up and play offs. Same as every other division. It made sense back in the day but there barely any gap between top end NL and bottom end League two. Said it for 3 or 4 years now that 2 promotion spots isn't fair. 2
