Raman Bhardwaj has spoken!

Whoooo? 👍

His wages are a problem, but he seems like someone with his eye on what he wants to do after he retires.

Hopefully he fancies a crack at management, wants to go and play under Martin (a defender turned young manager) and is willing to take a pay-cut for it.

Still ongoing

Just needs to go. That'll be a massive reduction in our wage bill with vards, that keeper, if ndidi goes and then Coady.

That'll help massively

Did you actually read the article (typical local news site that makes it hard to do).

I did and it was a complete nothing burger!

There was no social media tease of him joining Rangers (at least with what the article indicated) - and the rest was all public domain information.

Rangers collecting CB's like Pokemon. If Coady signs, he'll be their 8th! I imagine one or two will go but if there was any doubt that Martin plans to play 3 at the back...

Praying he goes.......

I get the feeling God has abandoned the club because we have an unholy creature of crass idiocy plaguing us, an accursed foulness emanating from Seagrave blighting everything it touches,.....damn you Rudders :colder:

Out of him, Faes and Vesty, he’s the one I’d rather keep tbf.

FM so that's a choice of your preference of a kick in the bollox, eating a bucket of puke or soiling yourself in a public place.

I'd take Vesty as at least he can pass a ball the other 2 are shocking full stop

Problem is the three of them will have being on 200k a week in total. So if we get the chance to move them on we probably just have to do it.

Still leaves Souttar, Okoli and Nelson if we moved all three on.

Souttar’s out till Christmas isn’t he?

We’re going to need a bit of experience in the squad as it’s a long hard season. Going into the season with a 21 and 23 CB pairing (which is my first choice btw) is fine but again of the three current “experienced” players I’d rather keep Coady.

I'm not 100% sure on Souttar's return date, but it means we won't be selling him in the summer.

There's plenty of experience in the squad already, so moving on a couple of 30+ year olds wouldn't be the end of it.

I’m sure when Pearson and co. went to the pub to look over the Watford loss, they identified the need for an experienced CB in a successful Championship promotion season. Thats why he went and got Waselewski. (May have completely made this memory up btw!). So if it’s not Coady (and Vestys experienced but his pace just forces you to play a certain way) I’d want some experience there, hence my initial comment.

I'd usually agree about experience, but i feel there is enough in the squad. There would be Winks, Ricardo, Justin involved around them with experience...before any of players withing the squad are mentioned.

From the three teams who got promoted last season there wasn't a center back who started the season over 30.

That makes sense,, we could save so much money on very average players. If we can offload them. 👍

Same. Out of them three, Coady suits our current needs most.

All three to go would be ideal, as long as we bought in 1 more center back. A loan from the Prem would be ideal
