Already fed up of Jonathan Pearce and how he’s pronouncing all the Italian players names. Sounds like he’s auditioning for a voiceover in the Super Mario movie.

The footballing equivalent of rugby's Eddie Butler. Except everyone actually liked Eddie Butler.

In World Cups 2010 and 2014 Italy went out at the group stage.

 

In World Cup 2018 and 2022 they didn't qualify.

 

In Euro 2016 they qualified with a game to spare.

 

In Euro 2020 they won all their group games.

 

Danny Murphy - Italy are slow starters but usually going through and grow as the tournament goes on.

I'd love VAR to intervene in incidences where players are clearly feigning injury to get someone sent off. 

 

Manaj just went down clutching his face in agony. He wasn't even touched.

Its just a typical Italy performance  so far.

Solid but not spectacular.

They'll do enough to get through.
