At this point, if we drew, I'd call it a win lol

Haha I swear I saw 1-0 on Flashscore earlier. Did they have a goal disallowed?!

Yes, for handball in injury time.

Wrexham 'the wheels have come off' AFC now have promotion in their own hands.

Wrexham have Charlton at home next, massive game given Charlton still can get 2nd.

Technically wrexham, Wycombe, Charlton & Stockport all can still be promoted automatically.

Lincoln playing a big part in the promotion battle.  They've beaten Huddersfield, Reading and Bolton. They've got Stockport and Wrexham last 2 games.

Match is on Sky.

Perfect for them .

Who was that particular Chalton fan that came on here quite regularly?

I remember us massively poking fun at him.

I suppose he has something to look forward to this season. Potentially automatic promotion to the Championship.

Walsall are imploding spectacularly. They were once – what?  – 16 points or so ahead of 2nd place.

If it's playoffs for them, everyone will want them.

Of course, if we play them it'll look like two teams trying their best to avoid promotion lol

For ages it was looking like a three horse race for the top 2, Charlton and Stockport have really reeled them in.

100%. Hugely impressed with Nathan Jones.

Shame he had that mini-meltdown with Southampton because he generally comes across very well and has really sorted the defence out. I think that's another reason I think Charlton can do okay if they manage to get up. A very solid base.

Plus promotion will mean having more chance of keeping hold of the likes of Small etc.Oxford United look just about safe now and although they were well organised last season, didn’t look world beaters by any stretch

Managing Southampton in the PL is starting to look like mission impossible so not the major disaster it first looked like for NJ

Wrexham beat Charlton and they are pretty much  up I think but any other result and who knows ?

If Wycombe also win at Orient, which is obviously far from certain, it would still come down to the final day

Reading *could* be in trouble today, facing league expulsion if the club is not sold by the end of today after their owner Dai Yongge was disqualified having failed the EFL owner director test.
My gut feeling is they will get an extension, but if they can't it's a VERY harsh punishment, within 6 weeks of failing the owner director test they are at threat of being kicked out of the league because the club wasn't sold fast enough. The time limit obviously leads to a rushed sale and doesn't bring forward the best potential buyers as candidates, it brings forward people who want to buy a desperate club cheap.

Hope they can get an extension over the line. American businessman Rob Couhig currently favourite to buy the club, previously owned Wycombe.

Small, Jones, Coventry, Edwards and increasingly Campbell all look champo ready.  Keep hold of those and get a few decent loans and additions I think they'll be fine. Godden is a good finisher as well but he needs some help. Leaburn and Chucks can barely manage half a season between them!

Just seen a story from yesterday that Mansfield Town midfielder Lucas Atkins as been jailed for 14 months, following death by dangerous driving. Strange that he killed the poor guy nearly three years ago, yet only just going for prison it. In the meantime he's carried on playing football. I remember seeing him at Burton Albion and thought he was a good player, sadly his career comes to end with a prison sentence. Least the family finally get their justice.

League One fairly tasty at the mo. I've some links to it via Lincoln City and Stockport - both having been residences. Actually saw Lincoln win at Wembley. I work with Charlton, a bit, too.

Personally would prefer Stockport to sneak automatic and see Wrexham languish in playoffs, scrape it and then get tonked in championship.

Pleased for Doncaster but Bradford really messed up their chance to win the league with their recent form.

Better from us today at Harrogate, at least in the second half.

Walsall can end our hopes of an automatic with a win today against Accrington.
