Of course it would have been all over the media if that VAR decision happened to one of the big clubs, but I don't see the point in spending over half of your pre match press conference for the next game talking about it. Yeah he asked about it but he was also asked a couple of times about Edouard and he seemed far more comfortable going on a rant about VAR than he did about talking up the qualities of Edouard.

That has proven to be correct.

I don't get what the outrage is. He was onside.

I think the point is that there would have been more in the media either way if it had been one of the big clubs. I honestly don't know whether it was onside or not but it was interesting what Mike Dean said about Selhurst Park being a difficult ground to get VAR decisions correct

he's tryng to create a siege mentality, that we're up against it, and also to make sure its out there, they we aren't going to go quietly. hes done the right thing imo

Possibly, I just think you need the buy in of the fans first before you start with the siege mentality stuff. To me, it looks more like a self preservation thing. I'd much prefer him trying to create a positive atmosphere around the place because I think there have been things to be encouraged by in the first 4 games

This is it. When JJ has been underwhelming, even in the scope of a single game and having Ricardo on the bench. Why not sub Ricardo on? It’s baffling, but not interested in baseless name calling, genuinely interested what the reason could be in Coopers mind? Must assume it’s either tactical, strength or minor injury concern that wouldn’t keep him from the bench. (No idea what such an injury could possibly be mind!)

Even slightly injured he would not be on the bench, it's truly baffling, I'm not an advocate of name calling etc but find it hard to defend SC decision making

Yeah I can't see any harm in it. A lot of fans don't need an excuse to feel hard done by at the best of times, let alone after the attempted points deduction.

I think some of the stuff our fans are saying about cooper is actually embarrassing.

No it is absolutely not. Cooper is way out of his depth at this level. He clearly doesn't rate our players especially the younger ones. Funny thing is it seem that our current squad much better than we thought compared to other PL teams, the problem is Cooper's tactics.

I really hope he'll be sacked before it'll be too late.

When pragmatism meets fear.

It'll either be the most drab game of football you could omagine, or one of us will accidentally score early and it'll be an absolute doozie

His decision making will be under intense scrutiny tomorrow and to lose against Everton, then the BOD must surely realise they choose the wrong man

and if we win?

Only a win today prevents it getting toxic.

I reckon around 33-40% currently actively want him gone.

Lose or draw today and it will definitely be over half wanting him sacked.

Problem right now though is I don’t think Corberan comes mid season.

Ffs when do the players take some responsibility? Let’s just keep going through managers while paying 6 figures a week to these dickheads who aren’t up to the fight.
