So in summary on this.

They hold a gambling license in Curaçao.

(For those that don’t know, it’s Dutch off the coast of Venezuela)

The Dutch government are unhappy with the state of Curaçaos current licensing operations, or lack of control. They see it as being perceived as tax dodging and money laundering and worry it’ll impact them internationally.

The Curaçao licensing authority is trying to clean themselves up, as it’s a big part of the income.

BC Game have had a lawsuit filed against them for £2m by players that haven’t been paid out for successful bets. They’ve also been involved in running illegal gambling services throughout Europe.

BC Games dispute this. It’s currently under legal investigation.

A bankruptcy order was filled on the 12th November.

The Curaçao authorities are looking to revoke the license for BC Games. However they have appointed an auditor to review the business to ensure customers are paid out monies which they have won.

The Curaçao Shadow Government have accused the Curaçao Licensing Authority of being a bit shady and doing some illegal, corrupt stuff.

BC Game are looking to leave Curaçao and obtain a license in Vanuatu. Which is in the South Pacific in the Harris end of nowhere near Australia.

Vanuata have seen an influx of online gaming companies join them due to more “relaxed” licensing approaches.

—————————

In summary, nothing dodgy going on here at all.

Why are we even associated with them and the fake pac man logo.

I see they used shirts with bc game on for ruuds photos

Thought they'd be gone if they were looking to add KP as the sponsor

they aren't going to breech the contract themselves they would have to pay, they will wait for them to be officially in administration or whatever and have them breech it

It’s hilarious to me that our fans are only now seeing what operation has owned us for years, as if an empire like theirs was built squeaky clean.

Let me see: parading the Thai king’s photo around, the involvement with polo and the royal family, the locked down Thailand trips because of what happened last time (allegedly arranged on their dime!), the thousands of fake fans employed by the club on stupid Thailand tours, and flying ‘influencers’ over when things go well on the pitch.

The whole ****ing thing is *removed by mod* and might well be the reason Susan and Jon have got Top by the balls with a job for life.

Our passion and livelihood is controlled by a billionaire’s child who will have you believe he was in the ground at a Carling cup final just like you were, when in fact the only time he’d heard of Leicester was when fat Sam Allardyce and his mates were circling to sell English football off to the east.

The game is so far gone that they’ll have you scapegoating a middle aged bloke from Nottingham for a drugs fuelled rant about Klopp, and not the fact he’s had 50k given to him by a Saudi oil prince to make Newcastle play in the champions league.

It’s ****ed but it’s the only sodding league we can be in to literally survive now. Best ignoring it all and focusing on how on earth Wout Faes puts his trousers on in the morning without getting nutmegged.

The penny slowly is dropping for a few more.

That would probably be more entertaining to watch!

It sounded like bc.game have paid for this year... so we would not want to be in breach

We remain in regular discussions with BC.GAME with regard to its Curaçao-based dispute and continue to receive the strongest assurances that the process has no bearing on BC.GAME’s financial standing or its international operations.

We note BC.GAME’s latest public statement and its reference to the evolving nature of both its industry and its associated regulatory environment. Analysis of this has and will continue to form part of our ongoing due diligence, which is supported by a globally established independent service provider. We will continue to monitor the situation, with consideration at all times to our ongoing contractual rights and obligations.

'continue to receive the strongest assurances'.

They're just telling the people they're talking to at the club what they want to hear.

But remember, we are a family club...

Exactly.

They're not going to tell the club they are in the deep stuff and are unlikely to be able to see out the contract.

Despite these assurances, if it does all implode the club will probably find out minutes before we do.

It seems unthinkable that BC.GAME will be on our shirts next season. The only positive is, in that scenario, there is almost no chance that it'll be another moody betting sponsor due to the upcoming ban on gambling advertising for the 26-27 season. Absolute shambles.

Even if they do survive, which I don't think they will, we really need answers from the club as to why all this about them being banned online in so many countries etc wasn't seen as sufficient evidence that they should not pick them.

maybe so but there's not much else the club can do, we can't just break the contract

Not a great look having to keep putting out statements saying all is well.

Part of me hopes this goes belly up to teach them a lesson, the problem is we all know the people making decisions don’t seem to learn from past mistakes.

Could be worse, we could be like Bournemouth who not only endorse gambling, but seemingly multiple sex acts.

Agree, however I imagine that these dodgy betting companies will simply be replaced with some similarly dodgy digital coin company given the lack of regulation around that industry.

We need to upgrade our non BS game!!

Susan was quoted on the club site as saying

“We welcome BC.GAME to Leicester City – an opportunity to work with an innovative partner in a new category for the Club. As a leading global operator in a rapidly evolving environment, BC.GAME already have a history of successful relationships in sport and we look forward to the development of a mutually beneficial partnership.

The ability to attract high-value partners upon our return to the Premier League is vital to our determination to re-establish Leicester City among the game’s elite, to continue to invest in a competitive squad and to ensure the best possible experience for our supporters.”

They've got involved with an industry that they know absolutely nothing about and they've had their fingers burnt.

Stick to what you know Susan and bring back Walkers Crisps.
