I wouldnt of thought Brighton would loan him to us to sit on our bench when he played almost 30 times for them last season He will get more game time here than at Brighton I reckon, but not first choice. Could be wrong!
Popular Post Cincinnati Fox Posted 18 August 2024 Popular Post Posted 18 August 2024 What the **** are we doing. just insane 25 million. For a defensive midfielder. ****ing run by clowns not to say skipp might be ok but our financial management is ridiculous. 25 mil on skipp is just ****ing ridiculous levy must by laughing his head off. Rudkin and Susan get out of our club. And top thanks but you have no bollocks. Just sell up 8

Md9 Posted 18 August 2024 Posted 18 August 2024 Another body in which we need an upgrade on hamza and still time for a few more in even if they are loans.
Fox92 Posted 18 August 2024 Posted 18 August 2024 Please not Skipp and Winks together in midfield together, awful.
lcfc sheff Posted 18 August 2024 Posted 18 August 2024 This will look a lot more positive if we can get some bodies out and get attacking players in of the ilk of zaha. Or look horrid if we have 4 CDMs

Just sell up its only 4 or 5 m this year, so it shouldn`t stop us signing a striker hopefully I don`t get the problem with the fee, as he is young, English and we are buying from one of those clubs so its not a surprise.

Not a chance we get more than 25 million for him when we need to move him on.

Ric Flair Posted 18 August 2024 Posted 18 August 2024 Couldn't afford £23m to buy Carvalho despite Liverpool oweing us £5-10m for Nyoni but can pay £20m + add ons for Skipp. Make it make sense Leicester. 3

KingsX Posted 18 August 2024 Posted 18 August 2024 Look at the transfer fees and basically we've traded Maddison for a starting midfield duo of Skipp and Winks. On paper, Maddison is easily worth more than their combined value. But for where we are as a club, that duo are more use to us than Maddison.

Literally nothing this club does makes any sense anymore, pointless trying to work it out.

Share the frustration Ric but we don’t know that we were interested in Carvalho. You may argue we should have been but that’s another matter. 1
Dahnsouff Posted 18 August 2024 Posted 18 August 2024 If it helps forms a solid base in the middle, from which we can protect the defence and build and attack, then fine. We just need too know who is going to be doing the building.

Skipp and Winks are an asset when trying to not concede.

But that not true is it? Tribunal hasn't happened and we will do well to get a million up front and we my be lucky to get 4m or 5m with lots of add ons. Do you consider Carvalho wasn't interested?
