After being so depressed looking at the news coming from Southport tonight, it was uplifting to see the 5 mins of magic from the swimmers and Murray/Evans.

Yee paced that perfectly and didn't panic when the NZL chap built up lead and had enough left in the tank for a strong finish. I honestly thought that was over and turned away to carry on with work!

WOW! What a finish!

 

 

Pidcock, Yee and now the women's quad all with last-gasp overtakes. Really bringing the entertainment value with our golds so far!

 

Edit: And a couple of 0.02s silvers in the swimming too. Lots of drama so far.

Very different viewing experience here in the States. It’s got me a bit homesick, to be honest.

 

Showing the medal count over gold wins to make the USA look the best is absolutely wild lol
