Wout Faes picked up an injury in his first training session back at Leicester City, but it won’t stop him from travelling to the club’s camp in Germany.

Should help him avoid picking up an injury playing then ……. Can’t miss out on the fee!

Only Vardy is a loss. Daka is a liability and Coady is brilliant off the pitch but not great on the pitch, having the same lack of pace as Vesty but not the same level of ability on the ball as the big dane.

The lack of a timeline  being mentioned for Vardy's return seems ominous!

He was back out on grass apparently this week. But it seems to be being pushed on and on.

Dakas foot is in a boot pal...no chance he starts next week!

pretty sure you're supposed to play with your feet in boots.

in all seriousness it's gonna be mavididi upfront isn't it?

Wilfs chance to shine as a striker now . Pretty much played everywhere else hasn’t he

Let’s just not have a striker and go full Cooperball. Cooper could bring in another midfield water carrier to go alongside Hamza and Ndidi. Maybe Raikhy can step in to add a further lack of creativity in the middle.

Stick ward up front. Whenever he plays he causes all sorts of problems for our defence so by logic, stick him up the other end and he could cause problems for the opposition defence. Absolute masterclass

This is actually brilliant. It could work.

So Vardy's out, Daka’s out, and I don’t rate Cannon as highly as others seem to. We need to sign a striker, plain and simple.

I actually like Cannon but are forwards just aren't creating any goal scoring chances for our lone striker

In that case, City have just Tom Cannon as their only senior striking option. Albeit, Cooper chose not to bring on Cannon as a direct replacement for Daka, instead using Stephy Mavididi up front before bringing on the Republic of Ireland international late in the game.

“We’ll see how Patson is,” Cooper told BBC Radio Leicester after the 3-0 defeat. “He’s in a boot at the moment. Conor’s going to be out for at least a month.

“Vards is still rehab-ing. He’s not back yet with the team and I think it will be a little while until that is the case. So we’re planning without those guys at the moment.”

Our injury problems are farcical once again. Coady hadn't ever had a long injury before he arrived at Leicester and then two pre-seasons on the spin he gets crocked in a friendly or training session on LCFC pitches.

So that's Stolarczyk, Vardy, Coady, Daka, Thomas all currently injured.
