Wonder if we'll recall Cannon in January and sell him?

Not sure there'd be many offers to be honest.  He needs a lot more consistency.  It might be a cheeky ploy if Stoke were in the promotion/playoff spots to scare them if he becomes vital to them. Perhaps a scenario we should hope for. But I'd suggest that scenario may be more likely for Souttar who Sheffield Utd will absolutely want to keep a hold of, and they're currently in the mix for at least playoffs.

Would be interesting to know what we value him at.

Braybooke unused by Dundee today. I’d look at bringing him back depending on if it’s possible and what clauses are in place.

Its seems a wasted loan, not getting enough minutes. If there were any options in the EFL, even lower down, surely would be better for him.

I got close to 4/1 on cannon to score today, felt like that was well worth lumping on, given that he’s on pens. Cmon TC!!

If Thomas Christopher Cannon (born 28 December 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for EFL Championship club Stoke City on loan from Premier League club Leicester City keeps this hit rate up until the end of the season he's likely gonna finish on around 20 goals. Not sure he's a long term answer to the Vardy replacement conundrum but he's definitely not a dud and he's probably a better bet than bloody Edson Oduoard. Still only 21

he’s one that will be a top player in 5 years. But would we have the patience for that? Still sounds like he needs a lot of work to his all round game.

Oxford United are auctioning Nelson's match-worn Poppy shirt for charity

https://www.oufcshop.co.uk/auction/auction/auction/2656_2425-signed-poppy-home-shirt-nelson.html

Following the club’s Remembrance Matchday vs Swansea City, and the midweek fixture vs Hull City, Oxford United’s match-worn Poppy Shirts are now live to bid for on our online auction site as we continue to show support for The Royal British Legion and the Armed Forces community.

Match-worn and player-issue shirts have been personally signed by the individual player

A bit of context. He’s scored six goals. Four in one game and the other 2 were penalties.

I’m not saying that I don’t agree with your overall sentiment - as I do. I feel he’d be better back up than OE and we’d also be developing our own player. I’m just not sure you can read too much into his numbers just yet.

A Championship loan would be his best option ideally. Develop at that level, gain some confidence and then try and make the step up to the PL. It’s only our dearth of striking options that don’t give us that luxury. Daka and Cannon as Vardy back up is a bit worrying, but no more so than Daka and Edouard

It will be interesting to see his strike rate in January not counting penalties.

after my luck with this, the only logical move was to stick a tenner on Harry Souttar to score in the derby!
