When you're ready to actually advance your own stance on the matter in detail rather than critiquing mine, I'll be here.

The burden of proof is not on me in this case. I am not predicting Trump means the end of the world and I am not demeaning anyone for their democratic vote.

As it stands and alongside my own work, the dearth of hard info from either side does not precipitate a material change in my impact assessment. That is mainly because I expect Trump to fulfil none of his pledges.

As stated, you have developed an incredibly strong stance on a candidate, have been telling us the world will end and are belittling nearly 70m people for their vote. And it seems you have done little to back that up with publicly available info. If you have the inclination to do the above on a daily basis, I'd expect you'd have the inclination to do some simple calcs.

As I keep asking, If I am wrong, pls let me know.

Actually, I think the alternative was poor too, but better that than a fascist, corrupt fraudster, convicted criminal, and sex offender becoming the president of the most powerful country in the world.

But the voters in the US didn't agree.

What were the democrats thinking trying to run with Biden? The biggest mistake was not making the decision for him not to run a year ago giving their candidate a clear run at it.

Absolutely. He was only there for one term in most people's eyes and she was always going to be (rightly) tainted by the record. A new candidate was needed.

All the posters in the room. Like this post if you agree on the following, to find some common ground, at least.

You want everyone to be able to have a job that pays for their family

You want everyone to be able to access care (emergency or otherwise) that they might need for illnesses and diseases, without worrying about the financial impact

You want everyone to live in a world where they aren't concerned that adverse weather conditions might considerably impact their lives (fires, flooding, drought, etc)

You want everyone to be able to express their own beliefs and culture in a safe way that doesn't physically impact other people, and they aren't at risk of persecution for doing so.

Nothing partisan. Just, do you want people to be able to enjoy those things?

I'm not worried about this election result.

I can however see musk trying to run in the future. Who I would argue is much worse and could run for much longer with his age.

He can’t run due to being South African, would be a mental term though. Imagine some of the shit he’d come up with.

Are you American?

If not, who cares? Brits need to stop debasing themselves by squabbling over an election thousands of miles away. Vassal behaviour.

I’m not phased by any of the other pictures Trump has been in, but this one really does it for me. You can truly tell a lot about a person by the company they keep. Some associations carry a weight that’s hard to ignore, and seeing certain individuals side by side speaks volumes. Actions, affiliations, and choices over time all tell a story, and sometimes, a single picture captures it better than words ever could.

I get the wider implications and all that but people seem to care more about American politics than they do closer to home lol

Yep, exactly.

You'd think those matters wouldn't be political footballs, right?
