Yes. Any of the next 5  to be honest. All the teams we are up against are beatable. But if we write off Brentford, Brighton and Newcastle due to Cooperball we still have a chance against West Ham and Wolves.  And for him to keep his job he needs to beat both.  Which'd both mean 6 points from 6 games and it'd mean taking maximum points from survival rivals.  Which is the only way he can be kept on.  That's how long we might have to wait.  Lose to Wolves, sack him, caretaker for Liverpool and Man City, new guy in for the new year. Merry Christmas.

The bookies don’t actually support your optimism 4/6 along with Ipswich

Oh bum. Another thing for Coops to blame.

Vesty "for footballing reasons"....

Am suspecting that there has been a fall out with Vestergaard.

This team, under decent first-term management, should be a top-10 one really.

There are some quality players in there with the wingers and goalkeeper, in particular - whilst some are quite under-performing, like Faes and Justin.

Reckon the club is looking for a highly-rated forward to replace Vardy next season, and has been looking for some time.

Should’ve got Fotis in the summer.

I thought with Cooper we were going to get him rallying the crowd and getting siege mentality out of us. Players seem pi55ed off with him and other than going to moan at the refs post match we see nothing of him. He comes across as a complete wet blanket.

Well according to Clinton Morrison on sky sports Cooper is a very good manager.
I give up with these so called pundits.

He's a Cooperesque pundit.

It's nowhere near that.

Of the regular squad, Ward, Justin, Pereira, Kristiansen, Faes, Thomas, Vestergard, Soumare, Ndidi, Vardy, Daka all got relegated with us last time in this league. Maybe they shouldn't have gone down with Maddison, Barnes and KDH among the ranks, but without them they'd have sunk without a trace. And of those eleven players, eight of them have featured fairly regularly in both campaigns.

After the additions of last year's signings, we were below promotion form for the second half of last season. Since then the transfer business has hardly been dazzling.

The wingers - Mavididi, Reid, Fatawu - have been inconsistent at best, and one is out for the season.

Under three different managers, since Congerton's exit, we've invested 160m on players. It hasn't been good enough. And it was nowhere good enough for years before that either. The highlights of that investment have been Hermansen, who has done very well, and Winks, who has been up and down this year. Mavididi and Fatawu have shown flashes at this level. Ayew has had a good cameo or two. The jury's out on Bilal. Facundo is impressive, but on loan. And then it's all downhill from there - Cannon, Coady, Reid, Edouard, Kristiansen, Souttar, Faes, Okoli, Skipp; 70m or so on players who haven't added anything as of yet.

We have one available RB, who is awful. None of the CBs have peformed with any consistency. Our LB options are all poor. Our most highly-rated winger is out for the season. Our star man is nearly 38.

I just don't see how, considering all of the above and the performance levels this season (and in the past) of these players, you could conclude that but for Cooper we'd be a top-half PL side. No, he's not doing a great job with what he's got, but it's crazy to think that this squad isn't roughly where you'd expect it to be.

No chance of a Percy article about Cooper any time soon. Percy was still absolutely glazing him with the article he wrote last week. Forest red tinted glasses on.

What is he or any of the muppet pundits basing this on? He got Forest promoted and just about kept them up but I've never seen anything from him in his career that suggests he's any better than an average championship manager. Nuno has proven that Forest had some decent players on their books and now he's getting the best out of them.

Proper winds me up when pundits and fans of other clubs say we are impatient and have unrealistic expectations, is it unrealistic to have a gameplan, pick the strongest team available and not play some of the most hideous football we've seen in years? Not even arsed about us losing games and being near the bottom, that's totally expected but the performances really are horrendous

Get where you’re coming from but we still have better players and facilities than Ipswich, Palace, Everton and Wolves and not too dissimilar to the likes of Brentford, Fulham and Bournemouth.

We have massively underperformed this season and are incredibly lucky to have the points we have.

Theres a lot better out there and we should take advantage of it NOW.

Still better than what we’ve got.

He is now down to 8/1 and 13/2 with 3 bookies, odds are shortening have a feeling a story will break in tomorrows media that the players don’t buy into his ideas, and by Monday morning he will be odds on and then the by Monday night he will have left.

Let's hope so 🤞

Our midfield is always badly organised. Shouldn’t be easy to play through 3 DMs yet we make it a doddle. So deep and still so shit in transition.

An average manager from a midtable Portuguese club would be an improvement.

We needed players starting yesterday that have a bit of passing ability and the ability to do something different. Cooper wasn't prepared to risk Vesty who is good passing out from he back perhaps because of his lack of pace or Mavididi the starting 11 and I think this might be part of the reason why Leicester were stuck in their own half for over half an hour early on. The mindset didn't look right either I think this was mentioned on MOTD we just looked overwhelmed really short of confidence.. However to be fair Cooper is certainly not blessed with the strongest squad and the thought of Ricardo Winks Fatawu being out long term takes us well below top half strength.

For those who didn't see the match the referee make little difference to the outcome.

Watch the highlights of Wolves yesterday. They are in a false position in the table right now - they’ll overtake us very soon if they continue to play like that. A hell of a lot more passion and organisation than us, we’re the inferior team.

You think we’re better or even on par with Wolves, West Ham, Palace, Everton. By season’s end no chance.

I think we've got enough ability to compete with the four of them and potentially finish above them

I agree with those who say our squad isn't good enough and responsibility for that rests with the recruitment team and ultimately the directors who sanctioned the transfers.

However the fact that we have a sub-standard squad for the PL makes it even more important that we have a manager who can get the very best out of them in every single game.  It should be a minimum requirement that the players go into each game fired up with the belief that they can win and with a full understanding of the "game plan" and their specific role within it.

Cooper has shown that he is nowhere near the leader we desperately need and should never have been recruited in the first place. He needs to be sacked before it's too late!

I think Vesty's a strong character and will see 2 clowns playing in front of him neither of whom deserve a place in front of him.

I think it's time to shake up the centre half pair because Akoli / Faes is not working - there 2 / 3 big errors a game from them
