That Monkeypox virus looks nasty..

It is apparently mostly spread by skin to skin contact during sex. I've been married for decades so I recon I'm going to be safe.

fortunately we do already have a working vaccine for it (smallpox vaccine) so, unless the antivax nutters really take off, it shouldn't be another SARS-COV-2

While driving in their own car, alone.  With the windows up and the aircon set to recirculate.

Sad to hear that Matthew Perry's demise was taken advantage of by people who were meant to be trusted and professional.

Sadly it has gone on for years in tinsel town, Michael Jackson was killed by his doctor and how many plastic surgeons take advantage of their clients who clearly have MH issues. It's all about money in that part of the world.

Paetongtarn Shinawatra

Thailand's parliament has picked Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the daughter of billionaire tycoon and former leader Thaksin, as prime minister.

At 37, she will be the country's youngest PM and the second woman in the post, after her aunt Yingluck.

Her selection comes just two days after former PM Srettha Thavisin was dismissed by a constitutional court. Both are from the Pheu Thai Party, which came second at the 2023 election but formed a ruling coalition.

He didn't have any friends who were there for him. :(

Just reading the Reginald D Hunter story on his run in Edinburgh being cancelled for a joke about Israel, that, surprise surprise, has been deemed as 'anti semetic'

a Couple of jewish audience members heckled the joke and then got some shite back from the audience. They gave it it seems, but didn't like it back. Which was kind of the point of Hunter's original gag.

Well sort of but the additional joke is the issue imo - straight anti semitic trope

Surely anyone attacking a facility used for the defence of the UK will face the full force of the law

Guess we’ll find out

If I were them I’d be going all out for a jury trial - fair chance they get off !

And those that post inflammatory comments in X about israel will surely be imprisoned for 3 years for “inciting” this? Not sure if that would fit Supreme Leader Keir’s agenda though.

That depends if they’ve specifically called for people to attack such places in this aggressive and violent manner

I doubt they have

Putting aside the Palestine group's sympathies for a moment we can't have defence establishments under attack what with Putin and his agents at play.

Does she need someone to feed her horses?

"He admitted theft after stealing an Amazon parcel – containing multipacks of Cheetos worth just over £25 – from someone’s doorstep at about 2.45pm."

A parcel of Cheetos, you'll never sing that.
