Let's start...

There once was a footballer called Jenas

Who had a miniscule penis

To deflect from that

He became quite a twat

And disappeared up his own anus

There was a young man from Nottingham

Who somehow won something at Tottenham

The BBC hired him

Then suddenly fired him

When it found out he'd sexted his cock again

Feels like Jenas has a few paths now: Become a full-time talkSPORT rent-a-gob, become a High Performance lad on some podcast, or succumb to the temptation and money of GB News, embracing the grift.

Well done Labour.

I mean, it's lower than 1971 and that's also not from this election's manifesto.

Mysteriously cropped screengrab with no link, or date, or indeed context.

Fortunately a pending community note points out:

The screengrab is from a document that is two years old, and was not part of the manifesto on which Labour was elected in the general election this year. At no point in the campaign was this promised either. Direct document link: labour.org.uk/wp-content/upl… 2024 Manifesto link: labour.org.uk/wp-content/upl…

Just had a gander at comments on x twitter. Armchair punters there all wading into Muslims.

If it was, things are gonna get very interesting/nasty in  western Europe - Sweden, Holland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Spain - very soon.

It may do even if it wasn't - the folks involved at Southport, Tamworth etc didn't exactly wait for a jury or convincing evidence before taking action.

The dark side of social media strikes again.

And/or the dark side of mass immigration strikes again

Remains to be seen

:dunno: If those supposedly worried about that matter really wanted to address the issue in a humanitarian fashion, they'd also be thinking about preventing a situation a little ways away that will result in levels of migration that will make the levels today look like a single bus coming into Dover.

Or not. The humanitarian option is, well, optional, to short term spatial and temporal thinking apparently.

BBC going well over the top with Jenas, I mean deleting him from iPlayer?  Bloke sent some messages to a couple of women working on the show.  Breach of BBC policy I'm sure, so fine to let him go, but they are acting like its criminal or something.

Probably best to wait and see what was in the messages

I’ve been told that there is a much bigger fish waiting to be hauled in - dozens of complainants ……..

Why is the BBC paying out this level of wage it's not as if there's a shortage of ex-players or even knowledgeable fans who'd love to do this job.

Jenas earned between £190,000 and £194,999 at the BBC in the last financial year for his work on coverage of football including the FA Cup, Match of the Day and the World Cup.

His salary for his work on The One Show has not been made public because it is paid by BBC Studios, the BBC's commercial production company, which doesn't reveal how much it pays presenters.
