Whoever finishes 17th is going to need a record low number of points to do so. Possibly as low as 28-30.

Been saying this all season but no **** will listen to me. I keep using last seasons example. Yes forest ended up on 32 points but they only needed 27!

We’re not getting anywhere near that .

It seems very unlikely, I agree. It places huge jeopardy on games like Ipswich and Southampton at home as well as visits to Wolves and Everton, and I just can't see us doing it. Even winning all four of the above only gives us 26 and that won't be enough. We'll need some completely shock, unexpected wins.

In the old days Man U would probably win after a couple of decisions go their way.

Now it just prevents an even worse defeat.

As for Spurs - I mean 3 goals given away against Everton says it all.

Ok got injuries but surely can get four defenders who can organise themselves.

It's Spurs. Even without all the injuries the scoreline would have been the same or even worse.

Have you seen Wolves' fixtures? They're vile.

Chelsea (A)

Arsenal (H)

Villa (H)

Liverpool (A)

Bournemouth (A)

Our run in to the end of the season after these is fairly kind.

We have 3 of the bottom 4 in our last 5

And we'll be done by then because after Wolves run of games (which was the point I was making), we have Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Newcastle, Brighton and Liverpool....

But as we've also just found out Wolves having an easy run isn't that simple after potentially getting slapped 5 games in a row

I can't see anything other than relegation now unless we sign some really good new players. The squad aren't good enough or don't want it enough. Spurs will be back to winning ways next week.

Quite true. After a good opening 3 games for Pereira we've lost 3-0 two games in a row. Albeit against two currently top 6 sides. Who knows what we'll be like in a few games time if we have more bad losses.

We're at least getting reinforcements in. CB bought last week and a CM on his way in soon hopefully (Manu Silva).

Wolves will have no problem, we are done, we need more players and Rudkin won't be capable of getting any deals done or the club will bring in some random shit.

The reason Forest needed such a low points total to survive last season was because of the quality of the bottom 3. We are one of those poor quality teams! For that points total or a points total close to that to be sufficient, we need one of wolves and Everton to absolutely nosedive. That, alongside our ability to go on a run (and we will need to at some point) is my concern.

Wolves games give me hope but there will be dodgy, surprising results in the next few - I hope it’s us and boy do we deserve some luck.

Everton after Spurs is going to be another massive one.

There’s a genuine chance that Saints could surpass Derby’s infamous record. On top of that, they’ve endured two 0-9 defeats, along with several other heavy losses in recent years. How much more humiliation can a fanbase take?

Add to that, we only beat Southampton because they went a man down. A team with 6 pts after 22 games.

We're going down.
