Aren't punishments from EPL/EFL totally separate? If so doubt taking it now would prevent another rodgering right in the EfL

Wish there was a veto season button so all 3 at the bottom don't have to endure any more. Give every team we play an automatic 3 pts or the 3 in question 1pt a piece in H2H games.
