All went wrong when we choose to employ Cooper instead of Coberan, esp after winning the Championship playing a completely different style

We couldn't have stayed up playing the way we did last year. The gap is too big. You need to scrap, get established and then crack on. This squad was never good enough to go toe to toe with anyone established in this league. We had a manager who has kept rubbish up before but it just was good enough for a lot of us. We sleep walked to relegation last time and shot ourselves in the foot this.

I tend to agree but I think the unity within the team would have been better with Coberan and that could be the difference between us and Wolves

Anyone worked out which game we are likely to be down by?

I think it will be Wolves away (fifth last game) when we are officially relegated. Even if by some miracle the gap is only ten points going into that game, Wolves winning would leave us 13 points behind with four games left. For it to be before then, the gap would have to be at least 16 points before the game, and I’m not sure Wolves will pick up enough points by then.

Liverpool fans already asking about buying home end tickets against us. Got to remember they never got to witness the title in 2020.

Yep. This is an alltime low for me.  Problem is I don't think it's stopped sinking yet.

This is the norm until this owner gets the hell out of here.

Yep. Next season is going to be horrific. This year has proven that this lot have lost their heads. Two relegations in two years following the decade we’ve just had? All that’s happened is Rodgers ‘****ems’ just accelerated the regression.

I genuinely think we’re going down again next season, and the worrying thing is with the hideous wage we have, coupled with the long contracts, we’re still going to have a lot of high earners stinging the place out in lower leagues, probably kicking about like they don’t want to be here…… the genuine concern for me is, how far are we going to drop?

I don't think we'll go down again but I can see us becoming like a Norwich type. You never know though. We've not performed close to our potential in a season for years now. It's a deep rooted rot. It doesn't keep happening by accident.

Wolves have pulled away and are starting to loom comfortably safe. We can’t even score goals let alone scrap out a draw and a vital point. I’m with pipes if Manu beat us let’s just start focusing on the championship.
sooner we come to the reality of the our situation the better for our mental health and well being. Let Ruud and players keep saying it’s not over till it’s over. Imo it’s over every single week when we aren’t getting diddly squat from these games. Atleast Ipswich and Southampton are scoring goals.

Not read everything but we were always getting relegated from the start of the season.  Whilst Cooper had some money to spend it was peanuts but part of it was due to psr and most of it by incompetence by our so called leaders....I don't need to say what signings/loans were a waste of money as we all know or have our opinions.  We had a slight chance at the start of the season but cooper was the wrong appointment.  I guess like most that the appointment of RVN meant we would have money in the transfer window....won't fall for that one again.  IMO the club is in a terrible state and will not get better before it gets worse.

I honestly think that when we have been confirmed as relegated 8n the next few weeks I honestly don't think we will be back in the premier league for around 10 years.

Atleast 23 of the 25 man squad we currently have need to be sold.

100% of the wage earners that are being paid more than 30Grand a week need to be sold at any price.

The protest should of been a violent one because nothing ever gets that way the board have slept walked the club into utter devastation.

Happy clappers will be happy thou as per. Still these ***** are biggest problem at the club and they need to be forced out.

We will still have the finances to compete with the top wage payers in the division.

Mix this in with the academy prospects

We should challenge for promotion  and

Possibly turn a profit if we can off load

the  contracted parasites

There's a lot of cope about Forest (which I do understand obviously), Marinakis is a mad bastard but he's single minded in trying to be the best. I'm not convinced they'll win anything but I think they'll utilise their position of strength a lot better than we did.

I am just glad we did convert it into silverware.

EDIT: That reads massively contradictory. What I mean is I can't see them having a summer as terrible as we did after winning the league. They will bring in a higher calibre of player. You can see them getting someone like Cunha.

It's mad to think back then we probably had the power to sign Van Dijk, Mane, Salah.

Not Premier League but Dele Alli made his debut for Como earlier, almost 2 full years since his last appearance.  He came off the bench and within 10 minutes was sent off...

Dr Premier league teams,

Please can you remind us on how to celebrate a goal being scored by your team. We Leicester fans have forgotten what to do.

Any advice very welcome.

Regards

He’s genuinely a solid keeper too. Not PL level, but it’s absolutely baffling that he’s below Ward again.

Wards got more premier league experience
