Ipswich will be no pushovers next week and we'll definitely have to turn up to win. I would take a draw at Portman Road to be quite honest. Over the course of a season, I would have to say that they've probably gotten promotion a season or two early. Plenty of hard work and endeavour, but naivety and lack of quality looks set to cost them over the course of the season.

 

Southampton won't get out of it, I fear. Even a change of manager probably won't save them as the quality just isn't there.

 

Wolves will get out of it. They have played some very good sides and had some rotten luck, but today shows they have the fight needed. Get that first win and I think they go on a run.

 

Palace and West Ham look worryingly poor from their perspective. Palace's match against Ipswich looks absolutely huge.

easy to say that now. Didn’t do much for hull at all, we would have been extremely alarmed if we had signed him.

He looked decent for Hull, I thought. Assumed he wasn’t fully fit today, as opposed to dropped, but either way he has 5 goals already.
