They are and I think it was going to happen but don't do that in public. I know we are pleased because of who it is but it isn't fair on the manager.

No and if it was anyone else I wouldn't like to see it but I really think the reality will hit them next season and they'll struggle

Yep. I feel for Nuno who seems a decent guy and manager. But f*** them and if this result and reaction from the owner causes them to fall apart it’ll be great!

Can FA and PL make a statement regarding Marinakis storming the pitch today? According to the recent UEFA documents he's no longer entity of Forest, he has nothing to do with this club. So there's an individual invading the pitch and assaulting Nuno and he's not yet arrested?

A rational owner would realise what a good job Nuno has done in getting a fairly average group of players to the Europa League or Conference League and want to cling to him like a limpet.

Hilariously, Marinakis is to rationality what he is to fair play and dieting. Forest will start slowly next year as they struggle to balance Thursday nights and the Premier League, with the luck likely wearing out, and Zorba will replace Nuno with a clueless yes man who'll take them down to their true level.

You absolutely love to see it.

What makes our relegation worse is the fact that if we had stayed up, it would likely be Spurs or Man Ure taking our place.

Nuno has kind of poured cold water on the situation.

Nottm Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo to Sky Sports:

"It was due to the situation. There was a confusion over the situation of [Taiwo Awoniyi].

"There was frustration to play 10 minutes with a player that had so much confidence and being positive that he's going to score.

"We made the sub, then played with one man less. That causes frustration, it's obvious.

"Football, football is emotions. It's difficult to control, especially when we had so much expectation today.

"The fans were incredible, we wanted to proceed the fight. It's not in our hands now, we appreicate the effort of the players and enthusiasm of the fans.

"It's not in our hands, but it's not over."

Their owner is an absolute fool. It's not Nuno's fault that Awoniyi's clattered into the post when the play should have been called back for offside well before.

Was his fault not to take him off though

They didn't have any more subs I thought...

They were making a sub, seemingly stopped to assess, then proceeded with the planned sub anyway. Awoniyi a few moments later looked like he didn't want to go back on and Nuno was pointing at him to get back on.

Hilarious how earlier this season some in the media tried to compare this Forest team to our 15/16 team.

They aren't even close to our 20/21 team.

It's absurdly disrespectful.

I don't think anyone from this bang average Forest side gets into our 15-16 side, and it's an insult to Big Wes and the boys to suggest otherwise.
