Unfortunately we don’t have many other options better than James and Winks that can play in the middle of midfield. Both Soumare and Skipp are crap and both need selling. Problem is we probably need to sell them both before bringing others in but we need to find a club that are willing to take them for a decent fee, which we most definitely won’t get for either of them.

SKipp hadn't played any minutes in the last 2 games. Its clear to me Marti doesnt fancy him. But 3 games in quick succession needed some rotation. There isn't a lot to call on when you need that and we all must have hoped Skipp could at least put a half decent 30 mins together.

Putting Skipp and Ayew on even though it’s obvious how they will play, and it did. It’s just poor management because at this point they are known knowns.  
 

He could’ve put Ricardo on and moved Hamza up.  He could’ve put Silko on and pushed Fatawu in the middle. He should’ve kept JJ on. 20 mins for a smart young talented player who might be tired over a proven brain dead plodder.
 

Do we even have a technical team, showing them clips of what they do right and wrong? or do they all just practise sideways passing and step overs.

I think he's in genuine danger of non-league, maybe retirement before he's 30. There are real shades of Jack Rodwell. It could be with him that a bad injury just completely knackered him as a player and we were the club stupid enough to totally miss this and cough up that sort of money.

 

In a line of absolutely dreadful deals this is the single worst. I didn't think they would manage to top paying similar for a bloke they failed to even register but lo and behold - the same bloke was still in post seven years on to make this deal.

 

We get everything we deserve. Absolutely pathetically run club - probably the worst in the 92 outside of Sheffield.

If you google it, he had a massive injury at spurs he had to go to the US for an operation, a season out. I dont think hes ever recovered, I think he's crocked

Matty James had bad injuries yet had really good spells at this level with Barnsley and Bristol City. Even briefly yesterday he looked comfortable.

 

What did Skipp do well at Norwich to get the reputation he did? Genuine question. Are we not using him correctly?

That's why we owe so much to Pearson and co and Viachi, that's what made us what we where not Rudkin or Top.
