Not sure what game you were watching then worked his socks off won a few tackles and was tidy on the ball can't recall him losing it once although will concede that's generally because he tends to pass sideways or backwards

Yes agree, he displayed good battling qualities which is where we are at the moment.

Plus, he played the ball into Page for the goal.

If we continue grinding out results then I'm sure we'll eventually see a bit more quality.

I was not at match tonight but listened  to radio leicester and didnt realise he was playing as he wasnt mentioned  assume he didnt do anything wrong

Worked really hard, won his fair share of tackles and kept the ball all game. Still needs to pass the ball forward more but was a step in the right direction.

Not sure Page did well tonight, very lightweight as to be expected due to his age. looked a lot better when he was replaced

I agree he needs to get stronger, and that will come, but as someone else said somewhere, with Ayew playing 9 but coming deep, he wasn't stretching the defence and was compressing the space Page was playing in.

Speaks well. Got to be our most eloquent player.

I've never really heard much from him before.  Seems like a decent bloke, spoke well on the academy players.

Could definitely see him being one who struggles with over thinking and confidence which is where I think Cifuentes can help some of our players.  Cifuentes seems to have a real emotional intelligence about him, in the way he speaks about the club, the supporters and the players.

What a cutie pie.

Something is up with him, if swear. He can't just be introverted because it's affected his performances as well as general demeanour. My Norwich supporting mate thought he was the second coming so he's clearly more than capable at this level. Last night felt like a big forward step for him 🙏

I know a lot of us think he’s shite but watching that, definitely think he’s a confidence player. One to support and see if we can get the best out of him, because he’s been honking until last night. Be interesting to see what attributes start to come out if he feels more supported and at home here.

Hopefully a reverse winks who was outstanding at first and dropped off a cliff last season

Aasaaaahhhh so THAT’s what he can do. The volleyed pass round the corner with back turned landing it on a sixpence thing . Not just an overstressed looking joggy  pointy water carrier after all. Skippy’s got talent!

He has been called out regularly for poor performance levels, so in same way deserves praise when he plays well and last night he was excellent, worked hard broke up play and was neat and tidy, in fact everything you want from a midfield destroyer.

A bit like Soumare seems to be very much a confidence player and Marti seems to trust them both which I think will see both players grow and improve their game. Think as the season develops Skipp will become an important cog in the side. Also seems a really good pro who works hard and doesn’t get involved in shite.

That's one of the reasons I find to hard to hate him, even if he's been rubbish. The performance on the pitch is obviously the most important factor, but their personality does carry a little weight. And he's somebody that definitely tries. Hopefully a run of games will get more out of him

He speaks well and seems a good bloke.

If his performances on the pitch can build over time, he could be a leader. Jury's out. He's an expensive signing on a long-term contract and still only 24. It's in everyone's interests for him to do well.

Yeah I’d never heard him speak either. Easy to do arm chair psychoanalysis but seems like he’s probably a shy-ish middle class type - that doesn’t lend itself to establishing yourself in a chaotic environment.

We need him to be decent enough because he’s essentially unsellable. He’s proved he’s more than capable at this level, just needs to maintain what he did on Friday

Comes across well here, hope we don’t push him to be too media friendly much like some other former players, but felt like that was actually insightful. Would like to hear more from him (provided he puts in decent performances)

I know it's not his fault we paid about 10 x what he is worth and I'm sure he's a lovely bloke. But even his 'better' performances are absolutely forgettable, at least there's a slightly comic element to soumares ambling around.

such a tedious prospect having to watch him for the rest of the season
