Has it occurred to anyone that he's actually just as old as he looks?

I genuinely think we probably did sign a 42 year old and the poor bloke is just fulfilling his contract without wanting to upset anyone.

its always good to poke fun at Spurs, but the guy we have now, cannot be the same guy that played over 100 games for them ?

thats the point i'm making, he had a huge injury with his groin the year before he joined us, take a look at his record

Onfield spectator again today. Barely touches the ball. Doesn’t influence the game. James had to put in so much leg work to cover for him. Just holds a position whilst the game goes on around him.

Genuinely awful. Looked like he wanted to get stuck in for the first 2 minutes but after that he was anonymous apart from the times he'd make a horrendous error.

I defended him at the start of the season, saying he probably needed a bit of time and a run of games. Well here we ****ing are lads 😂 he’s wank, and up there as our worst ever signing.

We had our pants well and truly pulled down with this actor, hes nowhere near even championship level, its not just a lack of form, his basic technical ability is not there, he lacks any type of speed, agilty & quickness, he does not look athletic in his gate, his awareness is non existent,  he actually looks like a spectator got on the pitch, and is bluffing it, none of these things are to do with form.

25mil someone as had a bung

I didn’t think he did that bad tonight, particularly as he looks like he should be turning out for Chelsea Pensioners FC

He contributed almost nothing other than holding a position on a pitch. Like a mobile football training cone.

He’s a central midfielder who avoids the ball either on purpose or because his reading of the game always puts him in the wrong place at the wrong time. He’s the Anti-Ngolo Kante!

He actually did some decent work defensively but he just goes into hiding when we have the ball.

Agreed he barely touches the ball and when he does he just passes 5 yards to his nearest teammate but he does work hard off the ball I will credit him.with that

“But but but … points deduction”

We didn’t get one and we had our highest net spend ever.

It was a characteristically lazy managerial search that usual regime goons defended because of an imagined looming deduction.

The net spend was what 50M  Inc 15M on Abdul .It was never going to be enough we spent far less then both Ipswich and Southampton.

I'm convinced a good manager could get enough of a tune out of Skipp and Daka to tide us over.

Both need a run of games, settled position,.some tactical instruction and some confidence.

A good manager can see hard work can’t hide a poor footballer and will get rid of both as soon as they can. Daka will leave at the end of this season and Skipp will find a home in League One (maybe with us.)
